Long travel Tacoma owner here, the triggered comments on Insta vs here is insane. I love my Tacoma, but I'm under no illusion that SA > IFS for crawling.

Saw it coming before he even started up the rock. Y’all gotta learn how to angle wheels. You can’t put the entire weight of the truck on one downward angle causing the load joint to take it all. Eventually it makes other things start taking the load and then stuff breaks as soon as the load joint starts distributing weight

It’s the way the tires/wheels are set up more than IFS. There is a company that uses the old ford d50 ttb axle on 4x4 van conversions and those fuckers tear through anything.

Nothing and everything hurts the truck, it’s all replaceable. That’s like stubbing your toe really bad and asking does that hurt the foot

Do straight axle vehicles not have tie rods?
@PonkyKong

@truthsmiles they have a pitman arm to a set of steering links. Breaking a solid axles steering is very difficult.

Yall need to have a safety brief about wearing a seat belt while wheeling 🤦♂️
@Project_Keeper_Motorsports

I agree, most guys wore lap belts but at the end of the day they are adults and no one can make them do anything. I don’t wheel without my belts on and I wish everyone else had the same mentality but they don’t

@Project_Keeper_Motorsports most trails we ride on around here, it says in the waiver and rules that if you're caught not wearing a seat belt, you will be asked to leave. No one wants to be responsible for not being safe. Just be careful 🤘🇺🇸

I completely agree. Biggest issue I had was that rear steer buggy’s don’t make enough noise to overcome wind noise and that was all the copyright free stuff I had access too. Figuring out how to get better audio for the next one. Thanks for your comment!

Good video. Let’s hear trail noises. You don’t need the music. We like to hear squeaky rattling buggies. That is my worthless $.02 Trail is unique for sure

Thanks for the comment! I wish I could have gotten more good trail audio to use. Between the need to speed up footage to avoid 3 hours of video and the crowd and quiet buggy’s music seemed to be the easiest way. Will definitely look at adding more trail audio in the future!
