Everyone is a critic. The problem is all these firemen (volunteers) come on these videos and become critics. The funny thing is, when their videos appear here others criticize them. And, may I add, to those who do volunteer to protect our communities, Thank You.

Alright already! Stop pulling You Hose, hook it up and get some Tank Water flowing! Ok! Now that there is water flowing, Get Off Your Knees, walk up to the house and get water on the Visible Burning Material! Do you know why he was having such a hard time getting water on the fire? Because he was PLAYING with the Stupidest tool ever created for fire Playing. The Ground Monitor! He has effectively turned himself into a Fountain Statue and with the Same IQ!

LOL! And once again, JB, you seem to be looking at a different video from the rest of us. Someone like you, who can't even handle his own ego, shouldn't try to anyone else how to handle a garden hose, let alone a monitor.

JB91710 what is the difference between a ground monitor and a deck gun? Every department I ever ran with that had a deck gun also had adapter that you could deck gun to ground monitor. They flow the same, you can have smooth bore or fog nozzle and it takes same manpower to put in operation.

@@michaelailer5623 in this situation it appears they had a single 2.5" "ground monitor" connected to there 2.5" preconnect hose. TFT, elkhart all make them. Here's a link for better explanation. kzitem.info/news/bejne/0GeNx2mCjZl7fmk So for these guys they would have both deck gun and ground monitor. It is a good tool in the right situation with the right training and understanding. Big water, straight ahead. I believe and agree with JB that a nozzle, say the new 1 3/16" would have been more appropriate. A nozzle keeps you mobile for better water application, eventual entry into the building for search and extinguishment.
