Well said, my intj friend can read me like an open book.. But of course being and INFJ I still got layers over layers. But at the same time I happy for understanding me so well and at the same time I hate it.🤣 bipolar feelings.✌🏻👍🏻

I feel that INFJs are shy, sweet, and kind people who can see the big picture, and want to help people. I like you and your video. I ,too, am an INFJ, and feel misunderstood and alone in a world where money is king and where people's lives are becoming less and less satisfying,

That sounded fairly accurate. For a feeler, I'm not always openly expressive about my feelings. I hold back a lot, but I do express myself when needed. If I had time to process my feelings, I'll tell you exactly how I feel.

I definitely explain how I feel in stories and experiences rather than words, but that's partly because I don't feel safe, accepted, and truly loved/understood, so embedding my feelings within experiences is a way of testing people's reactions to what I'm trying to reveal. I am watching for signs of acceptance or rejection. But, sadly, I don't feel like anyone ever knows how I feel. Or, if they do, they don't seem to care. So, I have gotten pretty good at keeping my true feelings to myself.

I think you got it spot on. I don't speak for no reason, even if the subject is not important to the person I'm talking to. With strangers I appear conversational & open but if they stopped and broke down what I'm saying to them there is nothing in the conversation that gives too much of me away. I also know what its like to constantly be on the receiving end of heavy emotions and I'm hesitant to offload my own onto someone else. I highly value the people in my life that have gotten to know me so I don't have to spell out to them how I'm feeling. Having someone put your feelings into words and say it back to you is very helpful. Being able to read my face, a small look etc. is something I really appreciate as well.

I have a hard time explaining how feel. I have explain it in story format, as if it's not something that is infact connected to me. Only my closest friends can make the connection with picture I paint for them with a story and myself.

this is one of the more accurate videos on INFJs. I never realized I was expressing my feelings when I talk about my day, but I am, and I do this all the time. And you're right! I do feel distressed when people ask me how I feel... I just told you, man!

This is a very perceptive video. I actually really struggle to answer when someone directly asks me the question of how I am feeling, but I consistently give myself away in not only the things I say, but through my facial expressions, and body language also! The clues are all there.

If I could just figure out which extroverted functions I have, which introverted functions I have, and the order that they fall in place within me. I have no idea what my type is. Seems like the more I learn about MBTI, the more confused I become about it all.

+Comrade Joshua I suggest taking a test. It may not be right, but it will give you a starting point to go on. If you can learn the functions of your test-type then you can determine what changes need to be made to it to make it your true type (if you feel it didn't fit you). Me, I've gotten lots of different results with the tests, but when I learned about the functions I was able to determine that INTP fit me best.

all very true :) as an INFJ I feel extremely happy when I watch videos like this. You truly understand us and what we need. That is very rare and is the number one thing we are always searching for. Even just attempting to do what you are talking about will be greatly appreciated and let us know just how much you care. You understanding me without me having to explain is like a dream come true and is what I want in a relationship with someone more than anything.

Thanks for the video. I've always *thought* people could read me like a book, but thought that was fair since (at times) I can see further into them than they can themselves. ;) However lately I am hearing that I'm not that easy to read at all, and that's from people that are really good at reading people. I don't know why. lol I'm an INFJ.

As an INFJ. I can say for the most part you're right you can easily tell when I am happy sad ect I can't hide it if its EXTREME I don't care if you "see" how I'm feeling or not *though I wont want to explain it to you feeling as you should have the ability to understand naturally like I do most of the time*, and every person (INFJ) or otherwise is different though! They could have developed hiding their Fe to a hire level because they had to, or as a protective precaution from being called overly sensitive growing up so they could avoid conflict/fit in easier. I could list ways its really hard to tell all day just on that. (AND maybe I'm actually validating your statement even more by posting this lol IDK Just wanted to give my instinctual reaction to what you said) I know personally if you're receptive enough to see I'm upset *very upset* about something and I felt like I told you (between the lines, how I'm feeling exactly) It'll make me even more mad and if someone keeps pushing it. I'll just explode and the person will be like wtf dude? ALTHOUGH this same (above)^ situation can be true for any personality type (I would assume?). We're talking generalizations of specific responses to a specific stress-er, be it a question ect All people are brought up individually and have developed their other *senses* aside from the ones that just come naturally to them. Essentially that's the biggest differences between the types all the other things are dependent on the situation for each person as an individual

SO TRUE!! Also, I'd like to add that should someone ASK how we feel (let's say one on one even, groups forget it unless it is an easier topic), it can almost feel invasive, or like you weren't listening to us when we were telling you things (stories totally EMBEDDED with emotions). Then we feel isolated and frustrated, but will probably try hard not to express it (remember, we're the ones that feel emotionally complicated, vulnerable, etc... ;)

well articulated, spot on. INFJs communication style is so messed up. The extroverted Feeling process does not have the necessary tools to deal with the vast amount and complex data of introverted iNtuition and introverted Thinking. processes. I am an INFJ married to an INTJ. sometimes my wife will layout one of her intuitive insights about my operational procedures on me... and it hits me as hard as this one did.
