Checking this after Suzuki tie him with 71 points in 2024. What the year he had!

what a redemption year for shawzy. If onyl he had played maybe 6-7 more games at least than he actually did so he easily could've hit a new career high in goals to go along with his career high in assists and points

What could’ve been man. I wish it worked out and he was more mature when he was in Tampa. He would’ve became an excellent player, but he already made his bed in Tampa.

I wish Panarin didn’t get traded in the first place. He was a stud. He had a lot of talent. Trading him to the Blue Jackets for Saad in 2017 was one of the worst move by the Blackhawks. That trade derailed the dynasty. It went downhill for the Hawks after that. I miss him a lot on the Blackhawks 😔

Hands down the only real sport around. All other players in other sports leave the game for the night if they have a hangnail. Hockey players can get decapitated.. go get stitched up & return to score the game winner! Grittiest players in the world!

Damn if stammer had played 75-82 games he prolly would've had maybe 41-42 goals (the runner up for rocket richard like 2011, 2013 and 2015) if he only scored 9 goals in just the first 17 games and the bolts would've been top 3 in the Atlantic division. 9 goals in just 17 games is pretty damn good since that would be like low 40s if it was in a full 82 game season by the pace stammer plays. Poor dude having his season end after just 5 weeks. Ofc injuries are apart of the game right but out of the handful stammer has had, this one was prolly the worst one cause this was the injury that resulted in him miss the most time and how the lightning missed the playoffs by just 1 point here. Pretty cool that despite these setbacks he always tends to pick up right where he left off with scoring 40 ish goals on average within his career cause most ppl who are in these similar bad situations are never the same as they were pre injury. Stammer has showed us that anything is possible if the rehab is taken seriously and you don't quit
