A fascinating and instructional video. One of the officers speaking in the film is a very good friend of mine of 60+ years standing, it is very nostalgic to see her as she was when I first met her!

If only I was 20-30 years older. I would have loved to have been a volunteer in the Royal Observer Corps.

I loved the Royal Observer Corps Summer Training Camps at RAF Stations. They were always very eventful in so many ways , specially the last evening!

An interesting documentary that I’d never seen before. Perhaps you could retitle the upload so it’s easier to find on KZitem ? Thanks for uploading, the Royal Observer Corps is often overlooked.

It would have been interesting to see how many observers would have actually manned their posts instead of spending their last days on earth with loved ones...
