It will be necessary to study the possibility suggested by Kljosov (2011h) that after the majority of men with haplogroups G, I and R1a were exterminated about 4 thousand years ago, men with haplogroup R1b also suffered great losses. They did not know how to survive in the exterminated Western Europe with the previous way of living. In the data of Kljosov (2011h), that men with haplogroup R1b in Western Europe survived difficult times 4.8 to 3.3 thousand years ago, while individual branches of the ancestors of current men with haplogroup R1a are around 3 to 2 thousand years old, it is indicated the possibility that men with haplogroup R1b were killing men with haplogroups G, I and R1a across Europe for centuries after they themselves were almost extinct. It appears that they were forced to eventually adopt the subsistence lifestyle of agriculturalists, i.e. the original men with haplogroups G, I and R1a, possibly learned from captured women. At the same time, they also took over parts of their language. In doing so, however, they did not become Slavs, but instead developed non-Slavic "marginal" forms of Indo-European languages, along with an agricultural expression. Their successors are now the insular "Celtic" peoples and most other Western Europeans.

Sorry all wrong, this happens when not knowing the mainly important studies! You tell like many history by the view of minorities and wrong perspective! In the end 80 % of todays brits are illyrian or protoillyrian what in the end is the same! You can call them so or kurgan or yamnaya or corded ware or battle ax people! All the same , only different terminology! Yes from spain a part but when not knowing the whole history then wrong conclusions come!! Stupid people everywhere. So called experts who do not know all main studies . Go studying. What science today going back , before 50-100 years they were farer.

This kind of explains why the Brits always migrate to Spain for a holiday and often move there. It's the highest migration spot in the world that we move to aside from Australia which is another similar climate country with the weather. But we only move there cause its practically a British country.

They were R1b The Basque Culture doesn't arise till 3000bc . There were inhabits in The British Isle by that time. The Specific DNA for Basque is R-S116 Which is a sub group of R1b , R being parent group . R1 Isolated during the Ice age categorized into 2 Groups R1a (Eastern Europe) and R1b (Western Europe) So to Say the Basque had a Basque culture in 15,000 BC is in error. The British Isle is U5, U4 and U2e since 30,000 BC (Cheddar MAN U5b1) Beaker folk were probably pre-Basque folk. R is the Parent group of U group. That's Issue with these Groups Proper names because we don't know what they called themselves.

None of this is accurate genetically. R1b is not technically indigenous, its indo European, it came to the British Isles in the late bronze age and that was an invasion by the bell beaker people. Before that it was I2 in the mesolithic, a mix of I2 and G in the Neolithic with the farmers/megalith builders (think stonehenge) and then a %90+ replacement by the R1b Bellbeakers. The Saxon Invasions in the early medieval/late roman period were not a total replacement. In some areas of high settlement modern English can be as much as %50 Anglo Saxon.

Doesn't explain why you get so much r1b in central asia , tocharians, chorasmians etc, and to this day in the urals etc. Culturally also horse burials, indo european celtic languages point to a steppe connection. The peaceful integration of beaker folk into megaliths building sw european Britain would account for r1b if the same thing happened amongst the Basques integrating into their country learning their language. An enigma like the r1b tocharians with a west European centum language with many celtic language cognates in modern day China.

If you really want a real genetic discovery, I submit to you that every ancient civilization can be identified by their paternal Y chromosome. These sixteen ancient civilizations are as follows... Greek Thracians L, Greek sea people T, Europeans R, Italy K, Medes Q, Siberia N, China O, Aramean F, Lydian F2, Assyrian G, Elamite H, Hebrew/Arab I & J, North African E3 M81, Egyptian E3 V12, Canaanite E3 M123, Ethiopian E3 V32. These sixteen ancient civilizations correspond to the sixteen grandsons of Noah. Neanderthals are Japhethite descendants and Denisovans are a mix of Japhethites and Cushites. (Not Semitic).....

"English mainly derives from Frisian". At that moment (when the alleged influence took place) there was barely any difference between the coastal dialects spoken from Normandy to Denmark, there were 6 to 8 variations of Frisian, spoken by some 15000 people. Moreover, Frisians didn't ncessarily speak Frisian. They lived all over Europe. That's a myth! Weird that you believe in it...

One more thing: the most R1b regions in Spain are Basque Country and Castilla la Mancha. That's because the Reconquista of this latter region was made by Basques, and we know that thanks to DNA tests and toponyms

Call "Basques" to people who lived 9.000 year ago... is to be a stupid of cosmic proportions. Like if we would call them Hispanos (Hispania... why not?). First the people who went to the north after the last ice age went out from the Franco-Cantrabrian refuge (this is the oficial name given to that place by the experts). So... someone can think that from Asturias until Bayona were the people there Basques )))... for sure they did not speak basque or something similar. This Oppenheimer, should have lived in Nazi Germany sure he would have worked good there. He is a..... doctor/medicine?. Yes?.... Oh, my God.
