It's taken me a week to build the basic shell of this in survival 😭 Now I gotta start on interior 😅

🚨MESS UP @ 0:50🚨 The left wall is 8 (EIGHT) blocks added ABOVE the beehive, NOT 7. So its like this: Left wall = 8 blocks *above* beehives. Middle wall = 7 blocks *INCLUDING* the beehives. Right walls = 6 blocks *above* the beehives.

I have a feeling this was shot as the build was developed and the notes were never updated to reflect changes made along the way. For example, the base of the main body of the house is 15 vertically, not 14, and you can tell because the beehives have an odd spacing. As somebody else mentioned, the first set of walls goes up 8 blocks, not 7. The design of the roof corner interiors changes at 4:47 without verbal note. There were several other things I noticed. The big one is never seeing the right-hand side of the build. (You can sort of tell some features from the front should just be replicated on the back by seeing through the windows, but that one side is a complete mystery.) Another is that the three roof edges on the front of the building were extended by 1 block from 2 to 3, without being verbally noted. It's a very good build, and the basics of the tutorial are there, but the devil is in the details, which is what I think frustrated a lot of people. I understand it was all done in the name of speed, but an extra 30 seconds and some more consistency in note-taking would have saved a lot of headache in replicating it.

A tips for new builders, a mistake i quite often see people do. DONT use blocks as what theyre supposed to be. If youre building an iron structure (a crane or machine idk) dont use the iron block because its iron, use what looks the most like iron instead (polished andesite, polished tuff, smooth stone ect). A custom tree could be built using moss for some of its leaves, not because trees have big clusters of moss, but because it can make the tree look better and allow you to put grass and plants on it. Dont build something so it makes sense in minecraft logic, build it so it makes sense as art (Edit): I mean you can do it, (carpets and stuff), but dont let minecraft logic limit your creativity

Shading isn’t really needed because of shaders, they Are more realtistic and look good even when you are close to the build

I actually managed to build this house (in creative, I’m not getting that many barrels and beehives) and I learned a lot from this tutorial. I made it and then used litematica. I might build this in survival soon.
4:43 ;pls make a video i am trying to get into more building and every video i watch on build they always talk about shading and texture but never explain it

This is not survival friendly. It's hard to follow because He's not showing all the blocks. Beautiful build, but he focused too much on the "aesthetics" of the video rather than being able to follow what he's building even though he's on timelapse

He did mention he isn’t going block by block. It’s just art. It isn’t supposed to be a pretty liveable house. Pretty sure this build was made for creative. Not survival.

"Professional" minecraft builders when you view the build in game and not a screenshot on twitter: 😢 "Professional" Minecraft builders when you walk closer to their build and not from 300 blocks away:😱 "Professional" minecraft builders when you say that, yes, there is actually a difference between gold ore and a crafting table: 😭
