I’ve started my going home party plans and Tom is one of so many singers that meant to much to me in my life and him and all the rest will be playing the stadium when I cross over! I know without a doubt it will happen….we are all connected and need each other FOREVER ❤️❤️❤️

Jesus judges the heart not the exterior of a person. It’s your heart for Jesus that matters which why we can’t judge someone. We can’t see their heart. So the fact Zac loves Jesus is awesome! Rough around the edges but aren’t we all.

That should be the goal of every musician. I've been playing 30 years and those times when you are able to touch people like that....Well there's nothing that will give you that feeling again,it's an amazing feeling and makes you want to keep doing it,and nobody did it better than Tom Petty!

Magnificent. The version on "American Treasure" is much more like "House in the Woods," with crashing electric guitars. This version that made it onto "Wildflower" is so sparse, with Tom playing the piano and no guitars at all. It took balls on the part of Petty and producer Rick Rubin to use this version. This used to seem like an odd song to close out such an incredible album, but over time it's developed into my favorite Tom Petty song. Deep, sad, yet ultimately hopeful.

Hey that's cuz The Heart Breakers gave us losers the soundtrack to our lives...we couldnt rock Prince or Madonna, it woulda been a put on. Tom soothed our post Reagan piss test Wal-Mart name tag bullshit semi-poverty filled existences. He saved lives, literally a prophet to millions of us "listenin to rocknroll station, greasy hair greasy smile, Lord this must be my destination" kinda kids. But he got enlightened too. We grew up together. Fare Thee Well Tom, thanks for the tune-age!! And to the Heart Breakers and Mud Crutch, are you "Willin"? cuz we got weed whites and wine.....
