I’m making a ritual. Every single day I will put this on and for 5-10 minutes close my eyes and pretend I have my hands gripping on the handle bars and just attract a Bolt until I have it. I believe it’s mine already just a matter of time. Thank you for putting this up.

@@BikesofRaven do you feel like you get to much wind hitting you to ?
@BikesofRaven

You get hit by wind everywhere since it has 0 wind protection. However at the speeds stated above it’s fine doesn’t bother me one bit. At highway speeds though I feel like a pin ball. That said some wind protection can be added like a windshield.

Currently I’m using the delkevic exhaust that’s made for the Yamaha bolt. I use it with the baffle in and I wrapped the baffle with some Fiberglass to make it a bit quieter and lower the pitch. But I record the videos with baffle out because it’s easier to pick up a clean sound when it’s louder and for some reason the baffle makes a buzzing noise that I can’t hear myself but the microphone picks up (with or without the extra Fiberglass)

Been watching your videos and this bike came up for sale so I grabbed it. Came with a Yoshi exhaust system and pannier bags. Sounds fantastic and is a hoot to ride. Can't wait to get out and go for a cruise once it stops bucketing down rain. G'day from Australia, love your videos, looking forward to more. Hopefully do some of my own soon...

Wow..... Raven..... that brake handle issue is not good,, .... You should be able to two-finger the brake from within 2 cm's of pull from full-out ....not the full 6 cm's and pin your fingers..... Air in the brake-line ??? ... bleed the front brakes...... Or you might need new pads on the front wheel ?? I'm guessing front pads need replacing...... That brake lever should never trap your right hand....ever. Also for the Clutch lever ..... you want to have 5 mm's of slack on the pull of the lever cable before you feel the spring tension of the return spring force So . when you slightly pull in on the clutch handle.... there should be 5 mm's of free-play before the clutch starts to release ... so double check that as well. Ok ? Stay Safe

Great run around town Raven. Have the same yr and color spec as yours, but the basic shocks, not R spec and the chrome bezel on the head light. Also still has the Stock 50 Cal Melon Canon Exhaust. Just a window pouch & side bags and a Mohawk Dark windscreen so far for mods. 44K + kms on it now. I'm liking your idea of the swing arm bags hanging under the riders seat ,.... might try that. Stay Safe.

I don’t like that engine is just sticking out on the left side so much wfy the hell it’s not centred?
@Yamahog
Жыл бұрын
Hmmm ..... What can I say..... Yamaha uses a single pin crank arm, same as HD does but the piston rods are side by side and the timing chains are left and right respectively of the cylinders. Sooo, the engine's #1 and #2 cylinders are offset to allow for this design. Yamaha took this into consideration when they designed the Bolt. They put the #1 cylinder right most and the #2 Cylinder left most. So when you sit on the bike and knee-in to the tank, per se, your right knee will touch the Filter housing and your left knee will touch that goofy guard wire on the left cylinder. Now, mind you, ... you might be saying Yuck...... But Naked Cruisers aren't meant for Squiding-around-on in shorts and flip-flops.... Right ? , that's the reason for all of the guards on the muffler's piping coming off of the engine. The bike is extremely well balanced and very nimble at low speeds. And it gets up to speed as Fast AF for most riders in the 140 to 170 #'s range. The Stock engine runs 59.3 #ft torque from 3000 rpm up to the rev limiter ( ~ 5800 + rpm). so that's 59.3 .... say 60 hp at 5252 rpm....(~ 65 Hp at rev limit) It's not meant to pull a tow-behind trailer and a passenger like say an HD SGS or Road Glide can..... so don't even argue the point with anyone. Those bikes are double the Hp..... and not much faster in the long run.... ( Y-110 vs HD-125 mph) on a straight-away. As for the Bolt's " designed by Picasso-looks", the bike does have trip-1 and trip-2, clock and Odo and ...... Self cancelling turn signals for you bobble-headed Noobs that forget to turn them off.... they turn off after 150 meters of travel after they are activated. Anyways, I'm getting way off track here, So I digress. Don't Dis the Bolt, it is an excellent Naked V-twin for new and experienced riders of all ages. Google the Yamaha Bolt's website for more info. AS for the cylinder centering method...... That's an HD Patent...... nuff said. Stay Safe.
