I remember the week of the state championship game against Shades Valley everyone outside of Anniston was saying that Shades was going to beat Anniston like a drum and I was telling people NOPE.

1975 Bulldogs of Anniston High would have whipped these boys and sure wouldn't have made such a gay ass flick like this crap. Couldn't have forced us into a gay tux like that but good on them for winning state. Must have been a weak year. 75 Bulldogs were a lot bigger, better QB with Marty White, better wide receiver in Speedy Brown-nosing a 9.9 in the 100. Running Backs? The Twins plus Keith Robertson at fullback. Think I would make the 75 Dogs a 2 touchdown favorite.

Hey dude. Just saw your comment of 6yrs ago about the ‘75 Dawgs. I was a ‘72 grad. We were weak as hell…only won 2 games that ‘71 season. It was Bill Farrell’s first year back into coaching after being out of coaching for 12 years. All of Anniston was really proud of what you guys accomplished that year. Marty came out of no where and proved to be an elite QB…what an arm!!! Ronald and Donald were dynamic and went on to have illustrious careers as JSU. I remember the first 10 passes Speedy Brown caught were for TD’s…got his name in Sports Illustrated. And Keith was a hell of a fullback. I played with brother Scott and I knew and always like Keith. I won’t give my name on utube but if you ever get your hands on a ‘72 yearbook look at the football section #32. I played safety my senior year. Like I said earlier we were bad but I can say this. I never allowed a touchdown pass to be thrown over me and I had 6 Int’s. At only 5’7” I had pretty good speed…4.5 in the 40. I also returned kickoffs and punts. Oh yeah almost forgot. My sister graduated in ‘75. Go Dawgs!

those few highlights from the Woodlawn aren't telling the whole story..Who won the game?Only reason we didn't see u all again was bad coaching in the semifinals..You got the ring but yall wasn't the best team!!!Go Colonels, sincerely #7Qb..you know the name

Ramon Posey what tells the story is our record 13-2 Woodlawn gets credit for one of those loses but if we would have played y'all for the title it would have been a blowout. we wasn't the same team that y'all played in the third game of the season shades valley blew y'all out the stadium how could it be bad coaching on a 52-14 lose now that's funny it seem to me u want credit for something congratulate the champs that's what we are. the real #6 Rod Burke MVP

We all had good teams. We fell off around our 4th game and just tried to get through our injuries just to get to the playoffs but it didn't work out for us. You Brothers at Woodlawn and Anniston had a solid team. Knight #13 Benjamin Russell '93, '94 and '95 I remember talking with guys from Woodlawn during track(110 hurdles)and everyone was cool and I always caught up with the Brothers from Anniston and it was all good.

Its funny how perspectives can differ. I think during the Woodlawn game we had 3 bad turnovers. I dont think we should have lost that game. We were actually looking forward to playing yall again in the state but....well we know what happened. I actually went to A&M and was friends with the QB from the Woodlawn team JB. We had that discussion many of days during our time at A&M
