Born & Raised in the U.S. My Mom is from Upolu, Father is from Savai'i. There's nothing wrong with modernizing and evolving with the times- but that doesn't mean we forget our traditions as we go. After all, I need my Motherland to still be there to be able to teach my future kids our culture. Oga ua i'u ua lē koe malosi o la'u fa'asamoa.

We don't need money for our culture because we already have our musical spirit and talent.

Aulelei ma onomea outou tamaiti 😍 The children are singing our district Matatufu and Lotofaga's anthem. O le vii lea o le matou itumalō. Everyone who is from there knows our traditional song from birth . Mo'i ah😄 Chorus Goes likes: Salevalasi o le Aiga lea 🔹o le Aiga lea🔹 Tulaga mua i le faigamea 🔹i le faigamea🔹 Aiga Tupu nuu uma o Samoa O Salevalasi na muamua i Paia There are lots of verses to this song but the kids are only singing the chorus here.
