It takes Bill Burr to adequately describe the way liberal white women tend to hijack just about every legitimate message of oppression and protest imaginable. Hilarious 😅

I’m not sure what I’m more upset about - that she copied the idea so completely or that she stripped it of all its nuance and made a much worse version than the original

The video is a joke, a painful cringe of a joke. and its existence only showed up when looking for actual good parodies of the song like this is Nigeria, this is Iraq, and this is Jamaica. This "Womens Edit" is just flat out trash, sorry not sorry 😂

Funny that there's a "This is Iraq" version and that gets nothing but praise despite being just as on-the-nose. This feels a lot like the "Women aren't funny" BS that people still bandy around in 2023. The video's not amazing, but it doesn't deserve this kind of hate. I don't think this was intended as an "All lives matter" kind of tone deaf deflection, but another viewpoint from a disadvantaged half of the population.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to spread awareness of the plight that a group faces. However, the thing that makes this terrible, in my opinion is Nicole's performance of the song. Lyrics and messages aside, it's just as pleasing to listen to as an alarm clock.
