That is a really bad diet for a Russia/ horse field tortoise they should never have fruit as there is to much sugar and it builds up gas’s in the tortoises stomach as well as the lettuce which has no nutrients but is ok to feed with a verified diet

Tortoise dig, so they can go under those walls easily especially since they like to dig next to something is put the wall underground too

should of done research be doing this there are fast ways and you should of use poor chlorine and water in a pump up sprayer and you would of had it done in minutes

No he should not have used bleach. That will kill the wood fibers. A dedicated wood cleaner would of been best and not a turbo nozzle either

How many gallons did you use in your fance? ThisSaturday i will paint my fance with the same color. My fance is 500 linear feet, 250 inside and 250 outside. The 5 gallon stain will be enough for me?????
@bmp90

I used a 5 gallon but it wasn’t enough i was only able to finish the back and one of the sides on the other sides i only had enough to paint the posts. They also have them in 1 gal I believe so i would definitely get a little extra just to make sure to have enough.

Shouldn’t be feed fruit or lettuce.. he/she needs the enclosure to be at least 12 inches in the ground” as Russian tortoise love to dig.

Some fruits are ok in moderation, like a treat. Lettuce is fine just depends on the type: Romaine vs Iceburg.

Why are the onions and tomatoes in such big chunks
@dreamachines8584

Not everyone likes onions in small pieces, its just for flavor. They will be easy to pick out if you dont want to chew small pieces of onion in your rice.
@bmp90

My kids don’t like onions and tomatoes but they give the rice flavor so i put them in big chunks so it’s easier for them to pick them out.
