Love it! Our little artists were engaged from start to end. They really loved this. More of this, Bethel. Kudos to the organizers! 👍🏾

Really, really enjoy these conversations. We don't have these types of discussions of faith in the US. Thank you!

O where are the reapers! 🗣Well said, Bro Meeks. I really loved your provocative and insightful commentary. These were some mission-inspired lesson studies we received last quarter and year, as a matter of fact. Last quarter's lessons inspired me. If we have an active conscience, how can we sit idly by and cotinue to warm benches after those lessons? I know my conscience was duly seared. I want to go on the mission field for the Lord. But whither Personall Ministries? This ministry needs to be reignited in our churches this side of the vineyard. We have grown lukewarm, and Satan and his entourage's footholds and strongholds are growing in our churches. We are dead and dying. We cannot have a church without discipleship. We are not Christians unless we are sharing Jesus' gospel. I pray this year that we focus less on the mechanics of mission and church organjsation and maintaining the status quo and more on living out and activating mission. It's my daily prayer for Bethel and the SDA church here in Manchester to experience Jeremiah's discomfort when he grew weary with God's work. "But if I say, 'I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name,' his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.^ Jeremiah 20: 9 [NIV] May we as a church and as individual disciples pray and be rewarded with a similar ❤️🔥shut-up-in-my-bones type of zeal. May our leaders get on their knees and fast and pray and devote daily for their personal revival, so they can lead a prayer-armoured and purpose-driven church forward. I pray for more meekness and less hatred, divisiveness and pride in the body of Christ. That said ... overall, those in attendance last Sabbath experienced a very evocative Divine Hr Thankgiving service with faith-filled testimonies and message by speaker, Elder Stewart.

Very informative presentation, Sis Knight. You dropped a lot of gems here. Lost my mother in October four years ago this year. I had a terrible grieving period. As her deathversary comes up I have to be alert for panic attacks. I am missing her so much.😢 This was worse cause I had just moved to a new parish and she died while staying with me. My family and my only child lived away. Covid started 3 months later and I was isolated. I've weathered this grief alone ...its been tough but God has been with me all the way, and I'm grateful for that. Staying active with online church in the two years following her death kept me occupied and sane. It was God's way to hold me together as I was falling apart. I still have all my mom's clothes, and weird as it is, I wear them sometimes because it makes me feel close to her. I'm in agreement that we need a grief support group ministry to help bereaved folks through this difficult time. Grief can break your faith so we need to nurture folks who are grieving. Great advice. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. We need these mental/emotional health conversations. Glad we're having them. 👍🏽💯
