Thank you very much! I am living alone with 3 kids, always doing everything by myself. I like to mend things but did't know how to fix this toilet. Your video explained it in a easy understandable way so now I saved money and learned something new again😊.

I have no water in this kind of in wall toilet. And I followed same instruction you gave here. But it seems there is just no water flowing in. Do you know what can be done in this case? Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest to shut off the main valve and take out the floater-assembly and give it a thorough cleaning. If you are gentle and diligent, it can also be taken apart and put back together in the same order.

I have same cistern. Now the water is "half". Is this because of the limescale too? Will putting some calcium-removal spray help?

I have in a few cases (where the toilet is running) had to take almost everything out and descale it.. Be methodical and sequential without using force. Then you Should be able to do the same ;) but remember to shut off the water first :P

There might be a way to adjust the float, but I haven't looked at that myself yet.

@@TigRdk dude thanks a lot , video is great. I have the same problem but you just showed us there is no water and floater is broken . but you didn t show us how to fix the float valve assembly? you have any idea how to fix that? thanks again respect from Turkey😊😊

@@torukojinnn6331 in this video, it is just the valve joint which has become stuck due to limescale, and simply exercising the lever makes it unstuck. For a more major dis-assembly, you must first shut off the main valve (at least in my house) to ensure there isn't water everywhere. Then you disconnect the metal hoze from the float assembly, free the metal hoze from the push-lever assembly and pull out the lever assembly, before the float assembly. Looking at the top of the float assembly, you may see a thick layer of limescale which can be loosened by a bit of mechanical force which May loosen it in large flakes.. Also you can disconnect the blue small rod from the lever and ensure the float moves freely before re-assembly.

I would turn off the water and methodically disassemble the content inside: lever assembly, float assembly and the drainplug-assembly. Clean Them of limescale (most can be removed carefully with some gentle taps with a screwdriver) and re-assemble afterwards.

How would you stop the water from running?
@TigRdk
3 жыл бұрын
Depends on a couple of things.. First scenario: The water runs, but stops after you take off the first cover.. Solution: adjust the two white push-screws by removing the clips (0:36-0:45) and turning the screw a bit in. When the cover is on, it should move 2-3mm before you feel resistance. Second scenario: The water also runs when you have remove the first cover. Suggested solution: proceed to 2:10 and then pour a de-scaling agent directly into the cistern (remember there is several liters of water in there so add according to labeled ratio) re-assemble and let it sit overnight. This usually takes care of it.

@@TigRdk tnx for the reply, i have the exact same toilet it seems, mine has a problem where water keeps going in the toilet and every few minutes it recharges. Drives me nuts :) are you saying that there is a product that can help with this? I wanted to get to the silicone circle gum, i think its called a flapper to clean it. But i cant get the water to stop pouring in the tank. I dont have a valve to close...
@TigRdk

There is always a valve to close ;) but in some cases, it is the main one ;) however, you might be able to do some creative closure at the green lever I am exercising in the video to prevent it from moving down and activating the water.. I've found that you can take everything out through the hole, just by thinking logically about which order it should be removed in. But I normally just pour in a good dab of vinegar-acid to descale it
@TigRdk

You might also be able to unhinge the float from the lever and pull out the metal chord/pipe so you can fixate the lever to stay closed

There is a lever in there (the green one at me) which you need to exercise by moving it up and down a couple of times

No idea why you got 33% dislikes. I figured out how to disassemble it by watching the rendered geberit assembly instructions, with this it is easyer. Have a rarely used one that gets "hung" and need to do the same thing sometimes.
