When I asked the question to the Labour candidate back in 2014 about how the voting was going for independence he said that they only needed Glasgow to vote yes. Low and behold the Glasgow people did vote Yes, so tell me how we are still part of a corrupt institution where only the rich get richer and the rest of us are told to shut up and stop moaning. The last American elections were publicized that it was a bit iffy with the postal vote being tampered with. I personally think that Scotland's ballot postal votes and the final count were definitely a big bit IFFY. So what's wrong with the old saying if at first, you don't succeed try, try again. As a nation, I believe we can start fresh and rebuild our great country, where you could go anywhere in the world and be respected just because you were Scottish. if we all worked together and put political/social and religious differences behind us we could build that great nation again.

My kids were born in Scotland and that's the country their consider their home, they don't even know our mother tongues, because my husband and I are not from the same country so we speak English at home, but as kids of immigrants they are not Scottish. He should have been called Norwegian-Welsh or Norwegian-British and you would not annoy so many people. A Scot who said, perpetuating the English 1944 thesis concerning the principal crisis of 1938, Chamberlain did nothing. A BBC employee presumably, biased to programming convenient political concepts. Scotland was well served in 1938, and who knows who is actually right now and what the right thing to do is, only independence sought now is an agenda that has not considered or even cared what the present needs.

No disrespect but if Dahl had truly identified as Norwegian he would never have written a single word in English other than to translate Norwegian works but from what I know it was the other way round. Will Scotland’s independence mean an end to the SNP? If not why not? They will have served their purpose. We Scots should have an election to vote in, the parties we want to govern Scotland, once we have our independence and what would be the point of a party that wants independence, in an already independent Scotland. Also, our parliament needs rebranding to the parliament of Scotland. Calling our parliament “Scottish” makes it sound like its only nearly Scots. Think about it , ish only means close enough.

To be clear this not a battle for Britain. This is a battle for Scotland. The rest of the UK can continue right along. I suspect Westminster has marginalised NI to the point that's also a lost cause but you reap what you sow. Wales is behind the curve because Thatcher ripped it's heart out in the 80s with the miner's strike. England and really just London don't care about the rest of the UK. We're leaving and there's not a damn thing you can do about it unless you want to be viewed like North Korea. We'll vote then we'll leave. Job done. Luv and Peace.

Dear Producers, I think if you ask Roald Dahl, "What ethnicity are you?" He would say, "I am of Norwegian ethnicity but grew up in Wales and England." I understand you are trying to bolster your Welsh writers series, but it strikes me as a tad SPIN. @@m8o431 Yes, you are right, but just because he was born in Wales, doesn't make him Welch - where you are born does not determine your genetic ancestry but rather your DNA decent.
