I bought this cd many years back even though at the time, I was unfamiliar with Sadao's playing. I was familiar with Diane Warren's compositions and that peaked my interest so I bought it. I've always loved this ballad and Patti's voice, clarity, power and diction was the perfect choice. To use the old maxim, they don't write songs like this any more...because nobody can.

Watched Sadao Watanabe perform live in Kuala Lumpur in the late 80s. Still enjoy this song very much even after decades have passed.

Totally agree. Patti’s lush vocals make this song a hit. Sadly, Sadao’s album Front Seat has been pulled from the streaming services.

She always had such a pure and elegant voice. I remember this song as a kid. If I am not mistaken Patti Austin would lend her voice to a lot of television commercial songs. I remember her voice on M&M commercials

Great song. I was a senior in high school when this song came out. Brings back so many good memories. Saw Patti and Sadeo I think on the Today Show and fell in love the song instantly

...i love this song looking for Sadao Watanabe songs brought me here, I also love Patti Austin what a awesome song! I hope they are both doing great in June 2021 it's worth it to find more of his playing really brilliant sax artist! Lovely song takes me back
