David Campbell is the only person ever in any Ninja Warrior show to put up the top time, even though it overall would become the 2nd fastest time, he had the fastest time when he finished, so it counts in my books. The oldest person to ever have the fastest overall time in any Ninja Warrior show was Yoshiyuki Okuyama in Sasuke 22 in stage 2, he had 24.8 seconds left on the clock at age 38, of course he was a sprinter so that helped.

What the heck was that swing edge? I can't believe they cleared that horrible angled thing. Going up and down the dragon with the bars is also strange. To top it off, there's a heavy door on the last spider climb. How can he stand it...? American SASUKE is so dynamic.
Ha easy game…. Come to Japan and challenge the real thing, what you guys are doing is just a game

Breaks my heart every time I see it. He could have easily made Stage 3 with the nerfed Stage 2 that year.

And with the floating boards not being in stage 3, he likely could've made it to the final stage, although in 2014 it took him almost 36 seconds to climb the 77 foot rope, so I think he most likely wouldn't have retired achieving total victory.

@@MobileGamingChronicles I wish he coulda got another shot at Stage 3, I definitely think he coulda beat the floating boards and go further. Even as he got older he had amazing stamina, almost never gassing out. Truly one of the all time greats
