You're getting ripped apart in your comments under the fantano post so I just came here to tell you that you're absolutely right. Fantano was seemingly taking this weird disappointed father take on Taylor beating out the #1. People really do hate how successful she is and they hate it even more that they can't mind control people into not listening to her music. So the only next choice is to take "moral superiority" over her and try to get people to dislike her as a person so they they can try to guilt her fans into not giving her as much success anymore. It's insane how bothered people are over her and I can't wait for things to die down because it's just getting pathetic how upset people are getting over it all.

I've heard song number two somewhere else.... I don't recognize the name School of Seven Bells though. It's probably how I saved this video to watch later to begin with. Think it was sampled in a hip hop song maybe?

One of the greatest groups of talented individuals to create music. To think such a terribly aggressive cancer would affect the awe-inspiring musical genius that is Benjamin Curtis. I don't get too sappy over the internet, but thanks for the one of a kind music that very, VERY, few bands have the power to convey, Benjamin Curtis, thank you for having a direct influence on my life.

Just listening in. It's been a while. Sorry. I met SSB long ago, or not so long ago. I met Ben back when The Secret Machines were just starting. (I'm an old roommate of Josh's) This led me to On!Air!Library! which I loved from the start and the sound of SSB just keeps evolving. This is not even my genre or generation and I still dig it.

Just found this video. I talked to Ben and Alejandra and Claudia when O!O!L! were opening for Secret Machines and Interpol in Asheville. Really nice people, and what a show. Oddly I somehow messaged Alejandra and she said she remembered that show. Then saw SVIIB at Moogfest, again in Asheville, and was so impressed... they were by then just Alejandra, Ben, and a touring drummer. So much creativity. Have to remember to cherish life and create art when we can, as it can end so suddenly. Thank you to all of you for the music.
