A bit of a minor point, you have some chipping on parts of the outboard tops of the wings. The area in the center was _canvas covered_ so it would not have chipped. Othewise a terrific job.

Merci. (I cannot speak in French; I asked a translator to help me with the passage above. I wish your video had adequate capacity for us to communicate; or at the very least, an interpretation from French to English, and the inverse.)

Nice build. I noticed the kill marks on the starboard side of the aircraft. Shouldn’t be port side.? Unless it was the pilots preference.

@@TRINFSS Than you. You are right, usually it’s on the other side ; maybe the pilots was a left-hander 🤔. Anyway, I’m gonna check the assembly instructions, It’s perhaps my bad 😵💫…

In 4 weeks I start on my Corsair build. Very excited. I have lights, an engine for the prop and a custom designed pilot of my dad. (It was his favorite ww2 fighter before he passed). Great work on this build and it’s great to see your craftsmanship!!!

David R Lentz, Columbus, Ohio, USA Bonjour, Monsieur! I do not speak French, aside from a dozen or so words and phrases. However, I provide immediately below a translation of your “Montage et mise en peinture complet de la maquette Tamiya du Corsair F4U-1 ‘Birdcage’ au 1/32 Avec une spéciale dédicace pour les Fans de la série ‘Les Têtes Brûlées’”: Complete assembly and painting of the Tamiya model of the Corsair F4U-1 “Birdcage” in 1/32, with a special dedication for Fans of the series “Les Têtes Brûlées (The Hotheads)”. For approximately the first three minutes (3:07) of your video, the resolution is of low clarity, making it difficult to see the details of your work. Also, I can hear no audio of any sort (no voice, music, background). Merci beaucoup, ô, mon maître du polystyrène! Your work is surpassingly excellent, and in every aspect of model kit assembly: the engine, the cockpit, the wheel wells and the landing gear, the gun bays and the six M2 Browning 50-calibre machine-guns-everything perfectly to encapsulate the moment in time when a war-weary aviator of the USMC and his mighty thoroughbred of the air had returned victorious from weary patrol-yet knowing that he soon must return . . . . I hope you intend to build all the new Tamiya 1:32nd-scale Corsair kits, so that I-indeed, all of us!-better can learn how to proceed.

You are the first builder of a Wildcat that I have seen actually paint the cockpit the correct Bronze green. Well done sir. Almost all kit instructions out there call for interior green which is incorrect. Awesome build

Gorgeous! I'm 90% finished building (haven't even started painting exterior) a slightly different version and your video perfectly illustrates the precision of the Tamiya 1/32 Corsair series. Without a doubt the best engineered best fitting kit I've ever built. If anyone thinks there's a better one out there, let me know please :-) Already thinking of a Spit next, would DEFINITELY be a Tamiya kit!

David R Lentz, Columbus, Ohio, USA Nice choice! I recently read that Tamiya's Spitfire kit (I do not recall which mark, nor which scale) modellers had voted the best kit (I do not know if they meant for all time, or of that year).

First neat subject, often wondered why everyone wants to build a UH-1.and not the more aggressive AH-1. second point the a/c full serial number is in the data panel under the cockpit does not match the tail number.

@fredares-modelkits952
@regisl.1487
