Hi, Thanks . They really are a good retro looking Scooter and treated correctly maintenance wise they give good service . The screen gives decent wind protection and if any increase in speed I would say minimal maybe. 1 or 2 mph . I bought the bar end mirrors from “ Bang Good “ I think they came from China , only about £7 and that was delivered. They are still on my Scomadi now after six year and no signs of rust anywhere . All I had to do was remove the bar end weights and fit the mirrors straight on . I also have a RA GP200 again fantastic reliable scooter had it three year now . Your TT is amazing, look after it , regular checks and oil changes you won’t go far wrong . Ride Safe , and as always KTF .

Well the Scomadi is now in its 5th year, running and looking as good as the day I bought it . The engine is standard . I upgraded the front shocks and fitted Lambretta fork Embellishers. Never let me down so far .sits comfy at 55mph with more to spare and climbs hills with ease . Very easy to maintain.

@Craig Kilty , Hi Craig, Good Luck with your SCOMADI, I’m sure you will love it . I Got the mirrors from “ Bang Good” came from China about £7 delivered but that was six year ago , I still have them on now and are as good as new . No trouble fitting , I removed the bar end weights and just fitted the mirrors . Unless Scomadi have altered the design you shouldn’t have any problems. The Royal Alloy GP has a set up where you can keep your bar end weights on and fit your new mirrors as well, I have done it , I just bought two longer cap head screws . Enjoy your Scomadi Craig , Ride safe mate .

simon carman , Nothing specific mate. The downpipe had to be shortened to fit the Neco, but that was all . It had a really throaty sound once fittted but not too loud . Was well pleased with it but sadly I sold the Neco after a year . It was a pleasure to ride just not fast enough to keep up on long runs .

simon , Yes mate is was stated Lexmoto . I think whatever you decide on it will have to be modified to fit . Sadly the Abruzzi model was discontinued in 2018 so if you get chance buy up spares which are non generic . Most GY6 engine parts will fit , Chinese Scooter Parts online are a good source for most parts .

Hi Paul , it was from Glosbikespecialist from E bay mate. They do have to be modified slightly to fit ,downpipe cut and rewelded but not a big job. Once fitted they sound really good and look the part as well .

Yes they are exactly that, look great very similar to the GP, we had in the 70s . Steel frame with plastic body but you cannot tell at all. Top speed is round the 60+ mark. when fully run in and note that these are automatic. Engine is based on the proven GY6 engine originally developed by Honda . Mine is the TL125 , with the 200cc due out hopefully in the next few month . Acceleration is fast from the start , and the scooter rides lovely . Exhaust on this is the PM 88 priced around the £200 mark or just over . Some riders have removed the baffles to give a throatier. Sound but I have left mine in . Expect around 200mpg . There are various accessories already availability for them , a few which I have added . They are really an excellent scooter . I hope this is of interest to you if you are considering getting one . Thanks for showing interest

Hi, Thanks for your comment. The lights are not wired up ,purely for show. As is the rest of the Scooter , I tried to replicate the look with a SX200 I owned way back in 69, I realize that the chrome look is not to everyones taste but being old school I go for looks and not speed. People say Chrome dont get you home but I disagree, a well maintained standard Scooter generally does that.
