The most underrated MCU movie is Antman 1 or Cap 1

I think both are excellent candidates. Especially on rewatches - they feel so different from the modern MCU stuff. Easy to appreciate the simpler storytelling and style both have.

I’d love to see Andrew’s Spider-Man return. Make a Spider-Man Blue inspired story which is smaller in scope and more character focused. The plot could just be Peter grieves Gwens death while learning to love again when he meets Mary Jane Watson. He saves her from her abusive father and maybe stops a few smaller villains like Mysterio Shocker and finally has that fight with Rhino we were promised all the way back in 2014. Andrew understands the character so maybe having him be more involved in the story could do wonders for the movie. Bring back Sally Field and Chris Zylka and just let Peter grow.

Stop it, you know he’s can’t be the one the only the Superman, Henry Cavill is the best superman period, James Gunn is a great director. He could have made it work with Henry Cavill but he didn’t big mistake. Too many people are against this and right they should. As fans we deserve better and you know it.

Thank you for watching! But the people “against” it are a small portion of people online. That’s just the truth. The general public is who they are going for and those people did not love the previous Superman-related movies which is evident by the box office and critical results. The general public does not care about keeping the previous actors. If anything, going with someone new is likely to help get people interested because it’s something new and different. I really like Cavill, but I can’t say there is any metric to prove that moving on from him is a “big mistake.”

Very nice comments. I don't have a lot of faith in James Gunn but you encourage me. I'm an old fan... I watched Superman as a 6-8 yr old in the 1950s. My love of Superman has never really failed. The ultimate Science fiction hero. I love the archytype and mythos of Superman.. He's what we humans should be. His story is both a warning and a ray of hope. (don't end up like the smug Kryptonians/use our powers and gifts wisely.) We have powers no other generation of mankind has ever had.. do we use our powers/tools for good or ill? Can we mature without becoming cynical and/or violent? Can we help one another? I love the Lois and Clark series because Dean Cain's Superman is very much a believable man working, striving, wanting the things we all want - a good job, someone to love, a home, friends, a great deal of the time. He has two jobs and it's rather a challenge of times. He makes mistakes. Misses opportunities, etc. I didn't entirely like Man of Steel, nor, totally dislike it. I thought the Kryptonian scenes were brilliant but the second half of the movie was intentionally too violent and Computer game inspired. I know that may be it was aimed at a generation that plays computer games constantly but the devastation of Metropolis was way over the top The Batman vs Superman movie was just cruel, made Batman totally irrational and didn't show either character in a good light. My favorite Lex Luther is actually John Shea - his Luther was actually horrifying, delusional and cruel.

The anime approach was used here in fast action scenes, the first one which really got me was Rogue going Rogue! Because we felt episode 5,... X-Men also is resilience..... We get absolutely destroyed and we carry on.... The thing about Cable being older than his parents cause timey wimey stuff... Works great? It sounds not so cool... But the universe of the X-Men is this mixture of nonsense and deep drama... Which is awesome to watch animated like this. Of course it went so fast but I have to admit it was a great job of fitting so many bits and pieces of many stories in short episodes which are coherent enough.... With a little more time it would have been better, but adaptation is still great... Closed the main arc and opened the next one with a post credits scene because we knew this could happen, just they gave us confirmation. And it's not good because we had low expectations, it was just GOOD so it surpassed by much any expectation level, and it surprised us!

thats pretty much the entire problem with snyder, he actually has ideas and can work around them to make something great. But when he put them on screen he does NOTHING not something diferent NOTHING, these ideas feel like place holders rather than actual explorations. Take for example zod in man of steel, even though i love the "KNELLL BEFORE ZOD" coqueror, i was open to a broken man that lost his planet and tried everything to built everything from the ground until superman show him the way and let go of his pride, kinda like a vegeta style arc, but after one damm film he dies and his corpes became a glorified vessel for doomsday, superman killing aside, the fact that you kill this complex character this early just showcase how much he dosn't really care about the exploration of his ideas, he just want nihilist imagery all the time with no actual purpose. It would be like killing loki in the first thor film, you could have miss an interesting character journey that justify his entire role, or even his NO-role and actually end in a satisfying but tragic note that made the jouney worth it, sure he relly too much on plot armor but who dosn't in a comic book

As a long-time X-Men fan and fan of the original series, even though I wasn't born when the show was around, HOLY S*** , THIS SERIES IS EXCEPTIONAL (pun intended). No joke, this series is so masterfully well written, with absolutely phenomenal animation and truly compelling characters and complex, deep, dark themes that genuinely make you question the inherent societal bigotry and how to process internal thoughts of fighting for equality and how to do so in a way to help society grow from the status quo of discrimination and to do more than allow yourself to become numb to a neverending struggle that you feel like isn't your responsibility. Truthfully, this series is some of the *BEST MARVEL MEDIA WE'VE EVER SEEN SINCE ENDGAME* (except No Way Home, GOTG3 and Loki)! Compared to how phenomenal this series was, Fox movies seem like amateur student films with such a bare-bones understanding of how truly incredible and insane the X-Men stories can be when you truly hire people who care about these amazing characters. After watching this show and its epic finale, Bastion became one of my favourite X-Men/Marvel villains. Theo James especially gave a superb performance as Bastion; now, whenever I read a comic featuring Bastion, I'll hear his voice. Not only him but the entire voice cast, especially for Cyclops, Magneto, Storm, Jean, Charles, Gambit, Rogue, Jubilee, Wolverine, Morph, and Nightcrawler, all did a tremendous job. Bro; the number of cameos in this series is insane! Cyclops and Jean saying goodbye to Cable/Nathan had me in tears🥺. 10/10 SEASON 1 I NEED A SEASON 2 NOW!!!

2 questions for you as an X-Men fan - 1. Did this make you hopeful/excited for MCU x-men? 2. Is it true Bastion was not as prominent villain back in the day?
@milkiassamuel780
28 күн бұрын
@@BCRvideos Thanks for the questions. 1. This series really gives me alot of hope for the X-Men in the MCU and to hopefully rectify the mistakes of the Fox X-Men movies. I truly hope this shows writers are involved in the MCu X-Men in some way because they genuinely gave some S-Tier writing in this show and could do wonders for the X-Men in the MCU and give audiences a whole new and far more nuanced look into the X-Men that we've only seen in the comics. 2. This show was my only exposure to Bastion as a character and as much as I genuinely loved this villain and his demeanor and perspective, Im not completely familiar with his history and despite the Operation Zero Tolerance storyline I'm not familiar with the characters other appearances. Apparently Bastion had a lot more of a convoluted history and origin in the comics compared to the show. He's still a Human Sentinel hybrid made out of Master Mold and Nimrod but not as interesting as this show makes him to be. One of the reasons why adaptations of these comics can really do wonders for characters to streamline them while keeping what makes them great and adding deeper layers to them with ideally good writing.

I personally like the show, in specific Clark’s character.. I don’t share your optimism when it comes to Gunn.
