Black wax I think. It can then be melted away to reveal the dye colour underneath. Wonderful process. I wonder where you can get the dye pens...

but uh....no one ever said those things. back in ukraine, our RE lessons are pretty clear about where jesus was born. and easter isn't an "invention", it's a tradition.

it really doesn't matter that much of where it originated. point is; its eastern europe and its a continued tradition.

Many slavic people share this tradition in a little bit different ways. It is a way to pray and glorify God for his death on the cross for mankinds sins. And alsoto remember His glorious resserection. Easter can now be celebrated every day in our lives. We can celebreate a living relationship with God. Just invite Him into your life.
