How can you have balanced hormones when they decline during peri/menopause? Don't we need HRT to protect bones, heart and brain?

This is a fantastic question! During perimenopause, progesterone can start a slow and subtle decline, but can be dramatically affected by too much estrogen. Estrogen dominance is very common in women aged 35-45 and really exacerbate the symptoms of perimenopause. By addressing imbalances with blood sugar, thyroid and cortisol, we can really maximize our progesterone, lessening the symptoms of perimenopause. Menopause is a different storm all together as estrogen diminishes, which can put our bones at risk. HRT is one pathway to supporting women's health, but another path is with specific nutrition to target any imbalances in the digestive tract, gut, thyroid and nervous system health , combined with lifestyle habits that promote women's health such as weight training. I would love to chat more!

remember your bones are Exoskeloton, thus you need pressure and resistance for them to be protected and to grow or heal. Pressure and Resistance = Weight training, which also brings up the testorone levels... which brings the harmony of the estrogen/testorone balance back. Get rid of all seed oils in your food and reduce sugar to about 30g a day of carb. no complex carbs. Grass fed and FINISHED meat only. and the magic should happen in a few weeks.. with some cardio on top.
