Thanks for the detailed rundown, and for not sugar coating the stuff that annoys you. Your video has helped me make a better decision on this big purchase. Interesting that JD claims that they’re the only ones that offer the PTO raise & lower from outside the cab. Clearly the Massey also offers this handy feature. I learned a lot from your video without needing to go to a dealer. Much appreciated.

I have the Titan Attachments twin spear made exactly like that one. I actually have several of them. Once I went twin spear I got rid of the single spears. I honestly don't know why they even make single spears because the twins are light years better. Im getting a 4 spear 3 point next so I can move 4 bales off fields at once to save time and trips across fields.

Hey bell farms like the content. Been looking at a 4707 vs the 75c case. I have a whole pro and con list going even though either one would likely serve me well. (Small time cattle guy) coming from a 40hp CUT newholland. Is there anything you would change about it? One thing for me is I’m 6’4” tall 205 lbs and my son like to ride with me also. The 4707 tractors I’ve looked at do not have the “Vizo cab” sunroof do you find it hard stack round bales without it? Keep up the videos my son and I enjoy them

Thank you for the feedback! The cab is great for us; however, you are almost a foot taller than me and my son. As stated in the video, I don’t think that outside 3 point hitch controls are as helpful as they could be, the lift control inside the cab could be improved, and no matter what tractor you buy make sure the Air conditioner works in the cab before you leave the dealership or allow the delivery man to leave. The tractor is great and changing oil with filters is easy.

We have a 2021 4707 on our farm. It had a few issues early on (leaked anti-freeze in the roof of the cab, 3pt hitch wouldn't work properly, and hood wouldn't stay up on its own). The first two were addressed by the dealer, but we're still waiting on the hood to be fixed. Aside from those problems, it has been a very good tractor. The cab is better than most tractor cabs you'll ever see, too. I will agree that the air ride seat is well worth the money and makes time on the tractor very comfortable. I'd hate to think of going back to non-air ride now. It's that good.

@GHuggins
Жыл бұрын
@@nalley6815 I'd stay away from Kubota. Can't speak for their balers, but the smaller tractors and their cheaper line of equipment falls apart regularly. I've just started ignoring the new noises ours keeps making. Kubota - don't see how they made such a good reputation falling apart like they do. I know the american balers are usually way too tightly setup and usually kill pulley bearings left and right. Simple adjustment usually fixes that though. Didn't know Kuhn made a baler. Should hold up as they over build everything.

@@sbellfarms4992 We have a 2021 4707. The tires are radials and are part of the suspension of the tractor and as such, should not be "loaded." By doing so, you have lost some ride quality. Between the air ride seat, the radials, and the rubber mounted cab, the 4700 series tractors like ours are some of the most comfortable tractors ever made. We love ours.

There is an up-down procedure to holding the outside buttons to wake up the rear hydraulics. They are also used for fine tuning, not massively moving anything quickly while an owner is back there (safety). I can’t recall exactly, but thr wakeup procedure is something like 3 seconds up, 1 down. As for error codes, We are going to get a book from MF with them. But in a pinch, the MF groups on Facebook usually have very quick answers. We’ve only ever thrown 2 codes: 1 was the hood wasn’t latched all the way. And 2, I accidentally “re-calibrated” the clutch by pressing it down AND holding the de-clutch lever / shuttle rolling up to a stop sign. Turns out THAT is the calibration process! 😅 Good luck with your 4707. Ours is a beast! Regards, Marky

Nice job with the video . Thinking about buying a 4707 and have a couple questions . 1 How is it on fuel? 2 . Is the switch that engages the MFWD just an on/off or is it a three position switch with on / off/ auto? Thanks for taking the time.
@sbellfarms4992
Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback. According to my math, based upon the miles traveled and the gallons of fuel used (both measured by the tractor), it gets about 2.77 miles per gallon. I will acknowledge that I may have calculated that incorrectly. The MFWD is a on/off switch. You press it to engage it, and press it again to turn to off.
@cssorkinman
Жыл бұрын
@@sbellfarms4992 Thank you for the answers - can you convert that into gallons per hour? I'm wondering if I can run at PTO rated speed for an 8 hour day on a tank of fuel with a medium load on it. I drove one last week and was quite impressed with how smooth the shuttle shift on it was as well as how quiet it ran compared to others I had looked at. Also i don't think there is a better cab on any tractor made in its class. Thanks again :)
