please please put them back in the water with your net we in the UK will be cringing, and we NEVER EVER stand up holding carp, just saying, we take great care of are fish in the UK, are fishing lake are well managed, carp are worth a lot of ££££, and draw a lot of £££ and people to the water's to catch them, Thank you anyway

I wouldn't be too concerned about it here. This pond is connected to the river by a ditch only when the water is high. Once summer comes the water level drops and the ditch dries up and all the fish are trapped. Then they all die in the winter. Plus they're invasive species here unlike in Europe.
@jamesatkinsfishing

Great video! Like a lot of people new to fishing, she was trying to catch the fish with the reel and not the rod. Good hookset and keeping the rod tip up would have kept a lot of those fish from coming off at the hole. But what a great attitude!

Yep, I tried to emphasize that off camera. Fighting fish is a skill we seasoned anglers take for granted, takes a lot of practice to get good at. Still a pretty solid effort for a first timer.
