This is really good. The podcast, the information & you’re interaction between each other. Much Success. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma Stage 2A. Last treatment was mid July of this year. I’m mid 60s, still dealing w side effects but so much better than during Chemo. Keep up the Good work.

Thank you Marina, we really appreciate your lovely comment! Side effects can be hard to deal with post-treatment, we are also dealing with ours. Glad to hear that you are feeling a lot better, and we wish you the very best.

Great podcast - informative & conversational. I had non-hodgkins lymphoma (just had the all clear🎉) and the symptoms I had were: shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, tiredness and weight loss (no lump). However; I didn’t realise how tired I was until I look back now. To begin with, I thought I just had the flu, chest infection and feeling run down.. I spent most nights googling my symptoms and nothing about cancer came up. But I knew as time went on and things got worse, that is was something terrible. When the GP told me it could be lymphoma, she asked me if I knew what lymphoma was and I didn’t know what it was, but I told her yes anyway, I just had that gut feeling it was cancer at that point.

Nicole Jessica We’re so glad you loved it Nicole! Thanks for listening 💜 I’m sorry you’ve had to experience that, and I hope that our pod has made you aware that other seemingly ‘normal’ teens experience it too. Congratulations on the ‘all clear’, let’s hope you’re over the worst 💜 C Pod Love 💜

So many parallels with my diagnosis. So strange how obvious it seems looking back from the beginning (age, location of lump) but the docs still run with the TB, cat scratch disease route before mentioning HL? I started getting worried when the doc doing the first needle biopsy referred to the lump as a “tumour” and I went into a panic while having needles poked into my neck... prior to that I just thought the nodes were swollen :-O. Glad you’re doing so great now, got a bit emotional when you said your brilliant grades!! You’ll always be my hero. X

Laura Tompsett oh Laura, you’re so so lovely! I really hope you’re well. It’s great to see your name and comments pop up, it reminds me where it all began. We can definitely relate, it is a very intimidating time. Even the thought of TB scared me! I’m glad to see you’re doing well also. Always wishing you lots of love and well wishes 😊 Beth xx
