Only this year did I discover the magic of staying at Beach Club, in a room at the far end of the building, and being literally right next door to Epcot. You could hear the Japan drummers from the resort

As a Floridian, I visited and stayed in almost every hotel there on Disney grounds. At least 4 times a year! It was my "happy place" to go! Both my children grew up with it, and in later years I would take my parents around the parks in wheelchairs.

Thanks for putting this up. I have tried for years to find this audio as I always wanted to get a better chance to listen to it. Do you know if this is an original piece, or an actual Cambodian tune? At any rate, so much thanks for letting us hear it clearly. This was always my favorite part of the cruise.

I thought the temple was hindu it is but no in India it takes place in the Mekong river in Cambodia
@SankaJonesCreations

Not sure about the tune, but I think the instruments are. From what I've read elsewhere, the main instrument present in this is a roneat, or a Cambodian xylophone (not sure about the others too); the temple resembles real-life Khmer temples like those at Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, making its location unmistakably in Cambodia.

Upon further listening to this suite, it appears many (if not all) of these songs are played by the same orchestra or group. Several songs with the marimba are unmistakingly similar in technique and tone. Would love to know the name(s) of the group(s). ANyone have any ideas?
