Question if the Earth has a magnetic pull how strong does a magnet have to be to float above it?

Diamagnetic materials might further your knowledge in levitation and would make for a great watch to. Keep up the great work 👍

I have noticed your build and tried it with plates and magnets along with several types of drones. The drones are mounted on these plates with magnets and the magnets makes it hover . The drone is flying by the plates and magnets not by propellers. Currently building the generator to power all the M drones internal and external power.

What you think about magnets slowing down with a copper tube? What real world applications can this be used for? Perhaps some kind of weightless transportation?

That's kind of your own fault you start lining the magnets up with your thumbs in between and then keep bringing them closer and closer while your thumbs are still in between them.... I thought when are you going to position your thumbs, so you don't get in between the magnets or let it flop over, I guess never lol?

2 years late. But WHAT IF the magnetic mounted on a giant plate of copper which may act as a shock absorber reducing the minute motions?

Is it as dangerous with the magnet just being near something made of steel? Can your finger be crushed between a large magnet and a steel object? I bought a 1200 lb magnet for fishing, but now I am afraid to use it. Thank you for this video.

No, the gravitational force acting on you is the same. It’s just like standing on the ground but with some bounce.

So here’s a question. Say you weigh 75Kg’s, hypothetically you sit on there none stop for a whole year. Those magnets have been repelling (or imposing a pushing force against) your static weight for every second ,all year round.....where is that “energy” to push you away from the earth with 75kgs of force, constantly, for a whole year, coming from??
