This is not an instrument, it's a midi keyboard which means it has no sound, you have to plug it in to your pc and use external programs to get a sound. ( out of your speakers not the controller )

I would appreciate more of a demonstration. You explained it very well and I appreciated your descriptions, but I would like to see it in-action, especially how the drum pads play. Thanks

Is the keyboard velocity sensitive? I'm looking for this type of tool but im wondering wich is having that dynamic response on piano i couldn't figure out if the korg or akai or this the alessis has this feature.

Alesis is velocity on both the keys and the pads. You can also control the exact velocity curve utilizing the software and updating the preset on the controller.

Elliot McGee Arturia MiniLab. If you’re comfortable with spending a little more, the pads are more responsive and the keys have a better feel.

Thanks, man. I actually picked up the MiniLab already and I'm loving it. I'd gone into a store and checked out the different controllers they had and the Arturia range feels great. The keys are what sold me. Not the best on the market, but for that price point they're amazing. When I can afford it I'm looking to get the KeyLab or KeyLab Essential.

Making comparisons, I'm always desperate to know what the key action itself sounds like; I find it incredibly difficult to concentrate on hearing the music if the keys themselves are clattering, yet I can't remember having seen any video reviewer record the mechanical key action audio or barely even talk about it. I'd really appreciate it if you could spare an opinion on the keys: So quiet that you didn't pay much attention, or, possibly distractingly clattering?

Very well done. I've had the V49 and love it. I'm thinking about also getting a V25 eventually for something to travel with. Does this also come with Ableton live 9 Lite? Just curious. I know the V49 did. Looking forward to some more videos.

how is the velocity ? ive been reading reviews and im stuck between this and the akai mini 2 but ive been reading that there are velocity issues with the v25...is there any truth to it ? and does this product come with the xpand2 software ?
@darkveilvaping3162
8 жыл бұрын
+Sonic Asaad It comes with xpand2 as a download. As for Velocity issues i haven't experienced anything wrong with that? But thats not to say that there isn't an issue that some people are getting, to be honest i read the same thing before i bought it so was expecting problems - but they never happened.

Great review man. Just got one today, and I love it. But did you happen to get the knob visual feedback to work? I can't find a review or demo with the knobs actually lighting up. The knobs are shown with lights around them on the box and on the website. I just can't figure out how to get them to light up. It's my only complaint.
