Heartbreaking - it took courage for her to put this out there, but she knew it was important for others to hear.

Just by hearing this song I never could've guessed the backstory behind this song, but now we know, and as you can imagine, I really had "fun" translating this 🥲

Thanks for providing this complete with English subtitles :) When I saw the first cut-outs from the 14th Anniversary Live show, I thought something must have happened. The vibe was not just the usual entertainment fun atmosphere we were used to, but more inwardly, more deeply felt, it seemed. Hard to explain for me in English ;) Watch Hana in Kachi Kachi Yama or the last 3 seconds of Setsunaku Melody... Hana's smile isn't cold and distant, is it? "Ever since I was a little girl I've had a cold, distant smile on my face. ... I'm going to live like this forever." When Gacharic Spin 5.0 presented the new formation at an early gig on April 7th 2019, after Angie said she had no doubt that GS will be better than ever, Koga talked about the challenge to compete with GS's previous versions, and rebuild the new GS. To me it seems, they have found their new Gestalt :) In the beginning, Angie had quite some trouble to remember where and how to move and what to do during a show. In a quite recent interview Angie related an episode - she didn't exactly specify when it happened (or it got lost in translation), but obviously not that long ago - when she asked Hana, whether this or that movement or action was ok, Hana responded, she should just do what she thought - or felt - was proper in her (Angie's) mind for the moment, no need to ask... "Go crazy, go crazy Right now Unleash it, clumsily Dance, dance, dance Right now" (Lyrics translation: blame deepl ;) ) Koete Yuke...!

I can just imagine Band-Maid seeing this MV and saying: "That is what we need! Someone to play keyboards for us! Then we would be a really band!"
basicly if you are too good you dont need to practice told takayoshi ohmura

One of the bands whose live recordings are far better than their album recordings. I think they definitely stand out in live performances.

Given the giant pink ribbon behind the stage I’d guess that this is a breast cancer awareness event… Imagine the middle age ladies coming out to support the fight against breast cancer and getting blasted by Nanmeita.

It's a "Red Ribbon" which is to promote HIV/AIDS awareness. This event is sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Health and has been held for over 10 years now. Gacharic Spin were just one of the featured performers at the event which explains why the audience wasn't as energized as at their one-man shows.
