I would love to be in one of your films. I wrote a thriller novel about a man and his autistic son. I have an autistic son. He is what inspired me to write this very strange novel, and as such, I believe my story is worth telling.

Salustiano. Thank you for sharing your story. My brother is a leading expert in the US on childhood autism, and he's published books on the subject. I know what a challenge it can be for parents and I wish you luck. I'll bet your story is fascinating, but most of my films are local because of budget constraints.

In fact, if you wouldn't mind sharing your brother's name, I would love to contact him. My wife and I have been thinking of ways to fundraise for autism research, that also blends in my novel (my book is a fantastic thriller, but I believe it also serves as a blueprint for those struggling to raise a child who is autistic). I think both can be a smash hit, but all that I am missing is someone to advocate for us and guide our mission. @@billlynchfilms1858

Great film, thank you! I knew of Gary Mayer but have not seen as much of his work as presented here. He seems like a great person, too. I agree with the idea that one HAS to make art, even if there's no reward outside the making of it. I too have a day job and those are just the facts.

Hard to get a feel, and critical assessment, of his work on this video but I thought the bathroom was the best due to its simplicity and immersive quality. I quite liked the fish painting as well. Heaven and hell didn't suck me in the way heaven and hell should. Interesting entry point, Abstract Expressionism , but not really my thing. I like Helen Frankenthaler and Lee Krassner's work from that period/ genre, but with the exception Pollock, the rest, not so much. Great to pursue your passion and dream though.

one thing I would like to say is there is a huge difference between art 'enthusiasts' and the real refinery of mad artists, especially the ones who truly delve in the manic realm of their subconscious. Only a true fellow artist can look at work like Gary's and say 'spot on, my friend, spot on. You hit the nail on the head." He's managed to combine the essence of many brilliant artists throughout the ages while still hanging onto his true authenticity... He captures the madness of serenity and the stillness of chaos. It's utter brilliance. I'm super inspired!
