This was just so helpful! I'm currently making my own kimono (Not sure what style, it's a costume pattern, but the kimono itself looks fairly accurate) and this helps me practice tying an Obi Belt!

Outstanding! Each part of the tying procedure makes sense from the standpoint of structuring a SECURE and visually pleasing bow. Some of the methods shown elsewhere lead to an obviously loose and difficult to maintain end product. If I can understand it as a guy, I'm sure that I can help my girlfriend tie it.
