I love Cayugas I have a breeding pair I got last year and they just started to lay. I can’t wait for spring I’m gonna try to hatch one of their eggs in my incubator. Edit: Monday March fourth 2024 it is spring now and I have two fertilized eggs one week old and my incubator and they have veins now Three more weeks to go

They turn white usually on there first adult molt and get a little more white With each molt after especially the females

Those are chicken saddles. Our Roosters are a little too romantic and they pull the chickens feathers out. Those protect the hens.
