I think it depends on the individual & their program as well. It works for some people, and doesn't work for others! Transferring is always an option if one doesn't like it at UofT. Best of luck with the school year!

@@thestudyschema557 lol you’re not a guidance counselor, you have no idea how hard transferring actually is and for most people they lose rather than gaining because most of the time they can’t transfer already earned credits in their previous university which prolongs their graduation time and fyi it costs money. Second UofT highly depends on taking students who already come from an upper middle class/elite background in order to preach their far-left bullshit. Making the students who go to this school to feel like they are special and in turn they spend more money at UofT. This is why UofT is a shit school, the classes themselves are rather easy and academic support from professors is fairly good. Cheers!

such a good resource especially because of covid. you should share this on the 'UTSC bird courses' page if you haven't already. but, just a point -- I know so many people that have combined a specialist with a major. they had dual interests & they were able to pursue everything that way. I know it may sound weird and overwhelming, but they did it. take care and good luck with your channel

Yeah, I've recently discovered that as well, and was amazed that people combined specialists & majors. Some people even combine specialists! And thank you so much for the lovely comment!

Indeed, when I attended UotTM I had interested in courses that were at ST. George at different departments. My interests were wide but encompassing ( Anthropology ) so after time out for family I ended up doing Specialist and Major as there was so many of interest courses over the years and I had more than was necessary for Major and Minors so I pursued Sp . In fact I was surprised that you said not doable. It was a decision I think well made after all these years.
