Hey! New Reading interventionist here. I'd love some tips now that you've had a year as an interventionist. I'll be doing K-6th grade and I am sharing a room with other interventionists as well. What would you do again and what would you do differently? Do you still do the 8 different centers or was that just for your regular classroom? SO many questions! I'd love to pick your brain if you ever have a minute.

Your reading area is so cute! I also have a small reading intervention room and this video has helped me so much. Thank you for posting. How are things going? Is there anything you would do different now that you've been in the room a while?

I'm impressed California, or school districts in California, are finally moving away from the whole word reading system, which for me was why I couldn't read until my grandparents paid for me to go to a private school that taught phonics. We've done our children a massive disservice moving away from phonics, which may take a little longer to grasp, but once they do the kids never have to guess again. <3 Thank you for the overview. I'm looking at offering tutoring in phonics and love the OG system. I'll look into IMSE. :)

This is my first year as a Reading Interventionist. I'm trying to set up a grapheme wall and unsure on what to use. Are you familiar with Secret Stories? Thoughts? I was trained in Orton Gillingham over the summer and am excited to use it. Would Secret Stories mesh or should I invest in something different?

Thank you for sharing your classroom décor and the reasoning behind why you have set your classroom the way you have! I like the number line and alphabet letters you show, I tried the links and they do not take me to them on TPT. Can you provide the direct link please?

This video is so helpful! I have been searching the web for example schedules and this really helped. I never thought of heterogeneous groups- genius! My only question is… do you have a schedule for when you pull your small groups? For example, do you pull your ai pattern group 1st rotation on M-W, pull your highest group 2nd rotation on Thursdays, etc? If you did this, your students would probably always miss the same rotation right? Or is it random?
