Amazing record of a very wise man whose humility is real and earned.

I never understood his comment he made about not offering self defense,or rather he has gone on public record having said I cannot teach you self defense. That being the case he could probably give you some tips.Does he mean we all react differently in a confrontation and everyone's mindset and disposition varies ? It's as if by implication ,every move is lethal.Who knows? Here is an analogy, I once had a welding instructor who said to the class of students "I cannot teach you to weld !" It took me many years to figure out the subtle nuances of what he said . There's a learning curve ,many valleys and mountains to climb and many variables. Would it be fairer to say I will share aspects of my art with you,but if you misuse it, it,s on your conscience and you are no longer welcome here. We don't wan't any bad publicity. For that alone I have the highest respect for his honesty.I have effectively answered my own questions. From my own standpoint, in a different field, of many success's and a few failures.Practice practice, practice, experience , and learn yourself. Much of life is a uphill battle,Peace to all.

you should really go and practise wing chun my friend.sifu nino doesnt exactly means that you cant defense yourself.its a full philosophy behind these words that you will understand what he is talking about when you start practising.wing chun is one of the best things ever happened to me and trust me you can and will defend yourself no matter what comes your way.i practise wing chun with one of sifu ninos students from the basement in 1984.

+RYDER's channel it makes very happy and i am pleased that i could help you my friend.dont think about going to that school twice.it will change your life the second you start practising.at least that happened to me.but you have to know that because wing chun is not a style but a complete SYSTEM of FIGHTING BACK martial art and a philosophy every sifu has his own mind of teaching it you have to be carefull of finding the right sifu.i am very lucky that my sifu came my way.he has the right philosophy and his wing chun is really great and authentic coming right from the great grand master wong shun leung.take a look in this site teamwingchun.co.uk. you will find out what wing chun is about and will help you more to your decision.
