we were lucky enough to have a violist that got into juliard in our highschool orchestra. We featured him at a concert playing this. Very lucky to have had the pleasure to play. Hungarian folk dances are fun too.

Una vez una tarde llevaba un niño un pollo a la espalda, el pollo el maestro no sabía que cosa estaba llevando, y quería preguntarle al maestro y le decía quería hacerle creer y le decía, preguntarle si estaba vivo o estaba muerto. Si estaba muerto le enseñaba el pollo vivo pero si estaba viv perdón sí estaba muerto si el el maestro le decía que estaba muerto el niño el profesor le entrega..el niño le entregaba vivo pero si le decía que estaba mue..vivo el niño torcia el cuello del pollo le enseñaba el pollo muerto no sabía que hacer. El ni el niño estaba con esa trampa para hacerle al maestro y le pregunta el niño al al maestro le dice profesor maestro dígame el pollo que tengo en las manos está vivo o muerto.

I love that Shostakovich wrote so many pieces, because when I discover a “new one” I’m always hooked. This performance especially has me in awe. Incredible upload, thank you!

This wonderful bunch remind me of the Guarneri String Quartet during their "high tension Beethoven" days all those year ago. The Guarneri were often on the edge and really exciting but these guys are equally exciting and amazingly just a little more accurate than the Guarneri. I love it.
