This show is fantastic at character development. I went from liking daya season 1 to hating her season 7 and the opposite for pensatucky.

The reason i love this show is because it matches how i feel everyday. Sometimes people are just together at the wrong time and place in life. Sad but true.

Daya’s character development is difficult to swallow but so realistic. I witnessed both of my sisters follow a similar path as her. Starting out kind and innocent, being manipulated by men, then becoming the very same monsters that abused them.

I thought the way her arc ended was cheap. Kinda how the whole series ended as well. Like as if they wrote it all out in a couple minutes before a deadline. Her character, like the show deserved so much more.

Although it is true that some people just don’t want to be the bottom, I somehow feel Nicky’s experience of her uncle rapped her implying her reaction. Because 1. this past has been mentioned several times in series; it implied her personality 2. In real world someone victims have this reaction

For 8 years I used to feel exactly like Tucky and didnt think college was meant for me and I also have a learning disbility. Until I decided to get back on the horse and finish up my general eds. I started this series right in the middle of Biology, which I admit was a tough subject. I ended up getting a B+ as well as an A in history. I just finished this amazing series and bawled my eyes out. Still bawling my eyes right now 😪😭

I was grieving for a good 3 days after her death. I didn't care about a character's death that much for a loong time. I think it's because her whole life was sad and after a change she deserved something good eventually happening to her.
I used to think that too, but then I started watching it, and I watched all the way from the first to the last episode

Even though I thought Pennsatucky was pretty much a scary lunatic girl and she used to freak out all the time and was highly annoying this made me sad seeing her like this. I Think it was her long drawn out pyschotic acting and her voice that made me want to vomit on her but I didnt like seeing her like this either.
