I keep a flat back when benching with my legs on the bench to reduce leg drive, otherwise when I’m going for bigger weight I use a small arch to give me an advantage, after all I’m trying to compete in a powerlifting competition this year

I already knew before watching this your knees would cave and you’d only hit that 1 rep lol bruh lower the weight to 225 or even better 135 and rep that shit out if your going for muscle growth . You don’t need to lift heavy to build muscle Brutha . You need to get that thought out ur head . Reps and more blood to the muscle is what expands it . Rep it ! 10-15 shit even 20 Reps

Dude what makes you think I only do ORM? I do working sets too lol the whole point of this is to test my max strength, I do sets of 4-10reps depending if I’m training light or heavy that day, if baffles me that people think I don’t have a program just because I post one rep maxes

@@D.Cole808dude what do you mean stick to reps?! I do reps, if I do a orm once every 1-2 months Don’t mean I don’t do sets of 4-10 reps, I would not be able to squat 315 in the first place if I didn’t have a rep program, a orm isn’t supposed to build muscle, it’s just a test of strength that’s all, why do you think powerlifting exists?

You can do more weight. But suggestion. Stay between 135 and 185 for sets of 10 to 20. 3 sets each. Until you can do 20 reps dont go up in weight. Once you get form completely locked in. Go back and attack and 315 will be water for reps

So interesting story, I had a back injury unrelated to the gym(bmx) so didn’t deadlift for like 2 months, also injured my shoulder ligament while pause block benching 225, also I cut from 178lb to 160 so now I bench about 200lb and dl is like 330 or so, I don’t max out much on my cut but I’m starting my bulk in 3 weeks up to 195lb so hopefully the strength will be devious😈
