We also traveled for 6 months this year through South East Asia and loved to explore by scooter. Now back in the Netherlands ..back to reality.

Thanks for sharing, how long do you recommend to stay there? How much was the sharks activity?
@james_monks

We stayed 5 nights on Phi Phi, which I feel is enough time to see the whole island and do a few excursions. The activity we did was just advertised as a long tail boat tour of the nearby islands and beaches, you’ll find plenty of long tail boats on the south side of the island near Ton Sai Pier where you can negotiate a price and a few spots to visit. I believe we paid 2000baht for 4 hours, which we split 500 each between 4 people. Hope this helps!

Hey, thank you for your video! Looks amazing! Could you share wich boot trip you booked (the first day) or did you choose a boot trip directly on the beach? Thank you :)

@@Alice2001 Thanks :) We actually just walked over to Ton Sai Pier and quickly found a few locals offering long tail boat trips. I think we paid about 2000-2500 baht for a private 4 hour trip (2 snorkelling locations and a tour of some of the nearby beaches). Hope this helps!

No problem, mate, Khmer is a word that is quite difficult to pronoun for non-khmer people./

Are you sure you want to go to Cambodia? I recommend you to keep your valuables safe because you will encounter many unexpected events such as unfamiliar people, society, environment, city conditions, smells and sounds. Many tourists have to face many of these events. Please be careful.

Where are you from? But I hope you have fun traveling in our country, Thailand. 😊
So much looking for ways to give yourselves a pat on the back. What about horse racing, bull fighting, fox, seal, white sided dolphin and white whale hunting in the West? 🤔😂🤣
you guys visited CM and didn't try Khao Soi or Sai Ou? looks like you just want to use the roads in Thailand to past to Cambodia. And chose to go to ancient city, instead of modern Thai temples (Wat Prakaew or Wat Pho) which have influences over other countries. You didn't need to show content in Thailand at all and make it looks like there's nothing to see.

Hey, thanks for your comment. We actually had a good few Khao Soi’s on our travels in Thailand- one of our favourite Thai dishes! Unfortunately a lot of our travels have to be condensed to just a few days in each location to be able to travel the whole of South East Asia in such a short time. We’ll make sure to visit Wat Prakaew or Wat Pho next time we get a chance to visit Thailand :)

@@james_monks no, thanks. You clearly showed you wanted to use the roads to past to Cambodia. You didn't appreciate our food or culture. You chose to visit temple, but a fakie one. You went to the market, but rarely showed anything. This is not travel. Thai people don't have time to lie about history. I'm sure this is not you interest. You don't need to show videos of rapid travel like this.

What a great way to spend two days! It’s not the destination, it’s the journey. I take it, it’s still a cash culture there - no tap and pay?
@james_monks

Yes, cash is still king in most of Laos! But Vientiane, the capital, has seen a lot of investment over the past 5-10 years and feels quite modern compared to other parts of the country. We found that cards were widely accepted in most coffee shops and hotels/hostels there. 😊
