Man when they are playing the knife attack part it’s like the musicians are attacking their strings. Their arm motions are like knife strikes.

Anthony Perkins was a lovely man, had a great sense of humor and was a fabulous actor! Loved him in this Hitchcock film, but my favorite is Orson Welles, "The Trial" 🎉

Splendid work of art. The strings absolutely lift my mind and soul from planet earth into the beyond💚💚 I saw another orchestra on here conducted by John Wilson, fatastic job as well. This one was truer to the film score though.

Hearing the Psycho Suite this way, in this setting, there's so much of it that reminds me of both Stravinsky and Bartok's music. Bernard Hermann brought a very modern, sophisticated type of sound to motion pictures, Hitchcock's films wouldn't be nearly as great if not for his glorious music.
