Great video ! Love the setup. I missed that front sight. LOL. How do you like the tantal muzzle break ? Has it shifted your point of impact any ? Is it loud ?
@WillyMandingoWinchester
23 күн бұрын
@@fortheloveofyugo I need to get my video quality on your level lol! The brake gives a good reduction in muzzle flash but the concussion is about the same as the full-size tapco AK 74 style brakes(loud as hell) lol! Recoil is pretty manageable especially if you train yourself!

Glad you finished it. I really like it. Personally, I would only have a 45auto that is tuned for 45super level loads and a bit higher but not near 460Rowland, just because it's unnecessary power. I would be concerned about the frame being able to handle it. I like sub compact, so I would chop the grip. I love it, it is also your own build, unique, a real man's gun. I had an accident a few weeks ago. I left to work and forgot my G30S under my pillow on the couch where I fell asleep. On my way home I picked up a chick I been trying to mess with for a while and took her home. I remebered the Glock was on the couch so I told her to follow me in and I ran ahead to grab the Glock and take it to my safe since the couch might be getting bouncy. Not sure what exactly went wrong, but the Glock slipped out of the holster as I picked it up(never has slipped out the holster like that) bounced on the couch flagging me then pointed towards my back wall which is the safest direction to flag in my home. With my cats all around(4) greeting me, my concerned prompted me to act and pin the Glock in that direction before it pointed anywhere else. I used the back of my hands, one holding the holster, I think it obstructed my view a bit. Somehow my trigger finger got in front of the muzzle, yes, including the long comp I use. Somehow, the Glock went off and it almost completely amputated my trigger finger at the mid knuckle save for 1/2 of skin that miraculously still circulated blood. I clamped my finger base to stop bleeding, I didn't lose much blood at all. Using doner parts from my arm, my finger was rebuilt. I still have a finger, but I will not be able to bend it except for the finger tip and the knuckle base. I also missed the base tendons, miraculously. The ordeal was video recorded on my hidden couch cam. People that doubted my safe handling and saw the video were shocked, called it a freak accident. Still, I was rushing and thinking with the wrong head. luckily, I'm a much better shot with my left hand, just need practice drawing and reloading mags. The finger has been a pain to heal. I hurt it twice over the weekend. It is coming along though. I was using a light bearing holster, they are not as snug as a regular holster, but snug it is. I am glad I did not hurt my beloved cats or anyone else. A piece of bone frag cracked my 60" TV, I since got a 70". Police where very respectful. The round was a reloaded 185gn XTP 1500fps. It achieved 100% expansion through my finger bone. The Glock tumbled to the floor and did not go off again. It cycled and the police extracted a chambered round.

@WillyMandingoWinchester I actually keep a recover tactical brace in case I only have use of one arm or hand. When I fully recover I plan to become permanently left handed. I was always criss eye dom and lefty with rifles and archery. I have always been excellent at point shooting with my right as well as very accurate throwing anything with my right. I will give using the middle finger a try. I am pretty good at using g controls on a right handed gun with my left also, but I am going to be looking at a Gen 4/5 frame now.

Almost everyday, hundreds create their dream rifles. Why would you own a rifle build for long range shooting, and not have some type of basic powered optic. Iron sights with never alway you to reach that rifles full potential.
@WillyMandingoWinchester
10 ай бұрын
I'm well aware of the rifle's potential and it has not been diminished in any way! The rifle has a scope mount that I can use at my discretion...also I could easily add a red dot if I see fit! Building another M77 with a big ass scope and a flash hider doesn't appeal to me! Just so you know...the M77 wasn't built to be a DMR! The 308 Winchester round wasn't designed to be a sniper round either! It's a assault rifle that can perform as a DMR thanks to the overall design of the AK platform and versatility of the 308 Winchester round! You should take the time to learn about both lol 🤣!

You'd be shocked loading it up out of the box...very accurate! Upgrade the sights and muzzle device...now you have a battle rifle that wants to be a DMR! The way mine is set up now...groups are tight up to 100 yds! They loosen up around 150 yds but still are kill shots! I haven't gone past 150 yds because I have irons...even with 20/13 vision it's a challenge shooting past that point lol!
