I know you're running the router separately but whats the power draw of the machine?

After having the machine for a few months by now, what is your experience with stiffness of the x gantry. Is it flexing when cutting in the middle of work area or stiff?

I have the QueenAnt V1, currently struggling with binding issues with the ball screw. Where you able to go faster than 4000mm/min?

Thank you for this video and all the work you did to help others out with the wiring. This machine is such a great value. I am thinking of purchasing this but the wiring still seems daun ting.

Yeah, there isn’t a lot of information about how to get this controller going so hopefully it helps.

Not sure I understand the question, but these kits use a pretty standard refill that’s easily available. I think this kit uses Parker refills.

What were you doing with the linear rail bearings? Thanks

Looked like you were washing them?
@AngryCiderGarage

Yes. They come with a light lubricant to keep them from rusting, but not good enough for continuous motion. I washed them in IPA and later greased with lithium grease.

How are you liking it so far? I'm about to pull the plug on the ProV2, there aren't much vids on here about it.

I like it and good hardware for the price. I don’t like the Mach 3 controller. I got it working, but it was difficult. I wish they had a controller free option. I’ll eventually add a Maso Touch controller and I think it will be an ideal machine.

You should use the RS 485 USB converter to run the spindle, much much better kzitem.info/news/bejne/r216m6JrsmmXaGU

What is your grand plan with this machine? What can it make for you that you can use? Just curious because I’ve never seen anything like this before. It’s interesting though!

Initially will be using it to mass produce products for my wife’s weaving store such as weaving shuttles and loom benches. I’d also like to experiment with inlay techniques: kzitem.info/news/bejne/2GtnsaeJcKWdoKAsi=4yD0dp6ryBBQrI8s

Possibly, but I'd do it again. I knew what I was getting into, but happy with what I got for the price and they were quick to respond, which I didn't expect. I do wish they had a no controller option, I always intended to use a different controller and only got the MachV-4 running as a challenge...and a challenge it was.

I fried my first HY spindle about three years ago. I later learned that it should not be set below 6000 rpm. I contacted the HY seller and they replaced the spindle.

Yeah, I’d heard that about the air cooled ones as they need that speed to stay cool. The water cooled ones can run slower. I still had mine set at 3000. I believe something shorted on mine. I might reach out to the seller.
