The Yamaha THR 10 amps are battery capable and have aux in so you can play music through the amp from your phone or computer and play along or view a KZitem lesson. You can use headphones if needed. I have osteoarthritis in my right thumb (I play right-handed). Do you have any solutions to reduce these problems?
@DrBsGuitars
2 ай бұрын
@@akufen007 so that would be your picking hand? Osteoarthritis is a really tough issue. Most issues such as carpal tunnel or tendinitis involve soft tissue, but osteoarthritis involves injury to the joint surface and inflammation of the surrounding tissues. Your best approach is to reduce stress (force) and try to protect it as much as possible. Gentle stretches and active range of motion (moving the joint through all of its motions) will help the tissues get ready to work. Stretching and range of motion loosen up tissue and get blood flowing in the area. You could also consider heat or cold before you play. Heat is usually best before activity. You might consider a wrist brace or thumb spika, but you should consult a doctor before using any type of brace. If you have additional questions I can explain further. Email me at [email protected] if you need more info. Thanks for watching

@@michaelmccallum370 I know Warmoth makes wide neck for Fender Strats, but I haven’t seen necks for other guitars. The guitar would have to be very similar to a fender strat, same scale length and same mounting. There are other factors that make it tricky.
