These aren't big enough to be turned into tiny houses when the no longer can be made to run. Maybe hoarders could buy them to keep their stuff in. These vehicles are going to be the biggest colossal flop, and the most expensive one, in all automotive history. Mark my words. I give it about one more year of breakdowns, failures, injuries, recalls and dangerous driving and injuries. Way bigger failure than the Edsel.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. Indeed, it is an interesting and valid perspective. Vehicle maintenance can certainly become a decisive factor in the future, influencing their resale value and long-term utility. It is important to consider all aspects when evaluating the viability of electric vehicles, including the challenges that may arise.

In norther Ohio, it's way to early for EVs. I would gift it to nobody. The battery, litium-Ion is unstable and there's not an even power distribution in the country. Lots to work out.

Thank you for your comment. In fact, the technology still faces significant challenges. The stability of lithium-ion batteries is a real concern, as is the lack of a consistent and adequate energy distribution infrastructure across the country. Furthermore, the investment required to purchase an electric vehicle is currently quite high. Therefore, it is understandable that many still consider adopting this technology to be premature.

We are fans of Elon Musk too, and we respect his accomplishments. He is a visionary leader who has pushed the boundaries of what is possible in many industries. However, we also believe that it is important to hold our heroes accountable and to be honest about their shortcomings. The Cybertruck is a bold and innovative product, but it is also clear that it is not yet ready for production. There have been numerous delays and production issues, and the final product may not live up to the hype. This does not mean that the Cybertruck is a failure, but it does mean that there is room for improvement. Elon Musk is a brilliant engineer and entrepreneur, but he is also human. He makes mistakes, just like everyone else. It is important to remember this and to not put him on a pedestal. When he makes mistakes, we should criticize him constructively so that he can learn from them and do better in the future. Criticism is not always easy to hear, but it can be essential for growth. When we are criticized, it gives us an opportunity to reflect on our mistakes and identify areas where we can improve. It can also help us to see things from different perspectives. We believe that Elon Musk is capable of great things, and we hope that he will take the criticism of the Cybertruck to heart and use it to make the product even better. We are confident that he has the ability to overcome any challenge that he faces. Elon has already sent a message to Bob about Disney. I agree completely.

Thank you for your interesting perspective, and I appreciate the analogy to the iPhone's early days. Indeed, groundbreaking technology often faces skepticism and criticism at its inception. However, I want to clarify that expressing concerns or criticisms about the Cybertruck (CT) doesn't necessarily equate to a rejection of electric vehicles (EVs) or Tesla's future innovations. Instead, it represents a critical look at a specific product's current state, acknowledging its potential while also recognizing its current shortcomings. Like the tale of the frog prince, what we see now might indeed transform significantly. At this stage, though, it's more about constructive criticism than outright dismissal. My point is to engage in a dialogue that respects differing opinions and insights on the journey of innovation. After all, it's through these discussions that improvements are made and potential is fully realized. So, let's keep the conversation going, keeping our minds open to the transformative journey technology takes us on, without dismissing the immediate concerns that arise.

@@NewsEletricCars I agree constructive criticism is good but you would have to be an automotive expert or a costumer. Seems like you are neither. I can tell just by the fact that you are greatly misinformed. For example you don’t understand how range in an EV works(I think neither in an ICE vehicle) if you did, you would understand why claiming the CT had a range of 100miles if for lack of a better word stupid. That specific test was done to the extreme, freezing temp, 11,000 pound load, constant 70mph drive. If your laptop claims a battery life of 8 hours, and you max out it’s capacity nonstop, and you drain it in 4hours. Does that mean your seller lied? Or maybe you didn’t use it like a normal person would? Same with range. Do you know what EPA range is? Check out the Edmunds range test, a respectable range tester, I’ll provide link

This strategy can be seen as a form of "Controversy Marketing" or "Bait and Switch Attention Strategy". Elon Musk is a master in this art, often launching proposals, ideas, or products that at first glance may seem absurd or of questionable quality. The goal? To generate discussion and controversy. But make no mistake, there's always a hidden intention: to divert attention to something more valuable or acceptable that otherwise might not receive due attention or be overshadowed in a saturated market. I hope not to be considered your worst enemy now! 😄 I greatly appreciate your comment and participation in the discussion!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! While Tesla has been an undisputed leader in innovation within the EV sector, the competitive dynamics are becoming increasingly complex with the rise of investments and government support in other regions, especially in Asia. The financial support and favorable policies of the Chinese government have allowed local EV companies to grow rapidly, improve their technology, and expand their presence in the global market. Although traditional automakers have faced challenges in transitioning to EV production, many are investing significantly in research and development to regain lost ground. Companies like GM and Ford are announcing, albeit belatedly, ambitious plans to electrify their product lines and compete more directly in the EV market. However, it seems that by the time they reach the current technological stage, it will already be obsolete.

Fair enough, not everyone is a fan of Musk! But: Age 12: Elon sold his first software, a game called "Blastar," for $500. Born entrepreneur: founded Zip2, an online city guide, with his brother Kimbal. Success and sale: Zip2 was sold for US$307 million in 1999, increasing Elon's wealth. Payments innovation: He founded X.com, which later merged with Confinity to become PayPal, revolutionizing online payments. Billion Dollar Exit: PayPal was sold to eBay for $1.5 billion in 2002, solidifying Elon's status as a technology mogul. With the capital from the sale of PayPal, Elon founded SpaceX and Tesla, beginning his journey in space exploration and the innovative automotive industry. An average mind would do all this.
@gerrychirgwin9342
3 ай бұрын
Blastar was a poor copy of an already successful game called space invaders. Musk was fired from the company that became PayPal because of incompetence. He became rich because he had shares in a company that became successful without him. He bought into Tesla and is not a founder of the company. He lied about that. Hyper loop was not his idea but he spruiked it as his own idea in the 'white paper'. Hyper loop has proven to be a failure despite Musk stating it is easy to do. Solar City is a failure. The Boring company and the Las Vegas underground loop is a failure being nothing more than a single tunnel with a bunch of Tesla cars creating their own underground traffic jam. Neuralink has caused the death and suffering of animals. Musk accused an innocent man of being a paedophile because his submarine was a useless failure in rescuing the children trapped in a cave. Optimus is so far behind Boston Dynamics it is embarrassing. Twitter was purchased at an over inflated price and has lost billions of dollars in value after Musk took control. Tesla stock value is tumbling after the repeated promises that have never materialised and after they are being sued over FSD. The cyber truck was delivered late, is overpriced and doesn't meet the specifications promised. Hardly a genius. SpaceX is relatively successful not because of Musk, in spite of him. The engineers make the decisions. It still hasn't fulfilled it's obligation to NASA and is behind in providing launch vehicle for Artemis mission.

Thank you for pointing out the error in the video data. I will promptly arrange for the correction. There was a confusion in the transcription where "miles" should have been stated, but "kilometers" was mistakenly used. The 320-mile range mentioned in the video refers to Tesla's estimate; however, as highlighted in the InsideEVs article you referenced, there are reports from owners who have experienced lower than advertised range. According to this source, two drivers accumulated over 10,000 miles on their Cybertrucks and reported a maximum range of 206 miles on a full charge and 164 miles with 80% charge. This discrepancy between advertised range and real-world performance is an important point to address and correct in our materials. Once again, thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we will make the necessary corrections to ensure the accuracy of the data presented in our videos. Elon Musk has yet to deliver on any promise he has ever made. He is a snake oil salesman, albeit of the highest caliber. Able to get governments, and investors to dump money into his BS schemes. Why would anyone trust this fraud of Hyperloop, Space X, Tesla stock dumping, and self driving vehicles in 2017 fame to deliver what he promises? Those who refuse to even question his absurd predictions that have never come to fruition have crossed over to cultism where reality no longer matters.
@NewsEletricCars

It is undeniable that Elon Musk is an exceptionally talented individual whose achievements in the world of technology and innovation are impressive. However, it is important to maintain a critical and objective perspective when evaluating his promises and projects. Although Musk has demonstrated an ability to think outside the box and create innovative solutions, it is also legitimate to question the viability and fulfillment of some of his past promises. It is understandable that many people feel inspired by his bold vision and entrepreneurial foresight. However, it is essential to maintain a healthy balance between admiring his accomplishments and questioning his claims and promises. Blind idolatry can in fact obscure critical analysis and lead to uncritical acceptance of his ideas. Therefore, it is important to encourage open and transparent dialogue about Elon Musk's contributions and projects, acknowledging both his remarkable achievements as well as the legitimate challenges and questions that arise around his initiatives. In this way, we can appreciate his genius while remaining attentive and skeptical regarding his future promises.
