You also need to have live wells picking up fresh water. Other wise it becomes contaminated

Very cool. Coolers make better minnow buckets also. Check out my "Best minnow bucket ever" vid, also for a history lesson into the scandal of Styrofoam minnow buckets check out "Styrofoam minnow bucket fail" vid. Thanks for sharing. KPO

Looks legit. I want to frame one in with a cabinet around. How do I get water to suck in and out to and from the lake?

In assuming you would need 2 pumps one that sucks in water from the lake and another spit it back out into the lake when your done with the cooler

check out our new channel Bottom Feeders Fishing Club, on same on facebook, thanks for the comment. there are a few different pumps, u can use one that u can mount in side on a long enough tube to throw over the side once done filling, insert back in bottom of cooler to recirculate that water, will serve both purposes, hope that helps

Just set your pump up to fill the tank from the bottom up, then, just plumb in a drain pipe near the top of the tank to the outside of your boat. Once the tank is full, the water will start to drain out. I just leave mine on all the time and it constantly recirculates the water.
