Awesome! I love to use these and doctor's tongue spatulas (boxes are both cheap on eBay) for wooden planks, but normally it's more wild west stuff and the like. As you mentioned, it's usually a good idea to use protective glasses, ones that have air circulation so they won't fog up. And for situations where you need to angle them in weird ways, it often pays off to glue a piece from a roll of 80 grit sandpaper onto a board.

Beautifully created, and surprisingly iconic I use very similar construction methods and materials for our Fallout/zombie apocalypse terrain and it would be so much easier if I could find your level of precision. Folks inspired to build a house or cabin will quickly realise the difficulty lol All in all a beautiful, inspirational result that's totally doable with careful work

We're doing a Stranger Things themed christmas at our house this year, so we wanted to do a little "christmas village" type of thing, but with Hop's cabin, and castle byers and all that. This video was such a big help, it's hard to find good references photos for me haha
