The Rational Egoist
Rational egoism is individuals acting in their own self-interest and making decisions that benefit their well-being and happiness. In a world where altruism is often praised and celebrated, rational egoism provides an alternative perspective on how we should live our lives. It challenges the notion that we should always put the whims of others before our own and instead encourages us to focus on our own goals and desires and include others only in a collaborative way.
This Channel is based rational egoism, hosted my Michael Liebowitz and run by Xenia Ioannou. We are focused on exploring the concept in more detail, including its origins, key principles, and how it differs from other philosophical theories. We also examine the benefits of adopting a rational egoist approach to life, and consider how this theory can be applied in order to benefit better political structures, life and happiness.
