REMEMBER: The Clantons were a horse stealing CARTEL Old Man Clanton was a straight up SERIAL KILLER The Earps were a family gang trying to carve out some gambling action to fill their pockets there was NO REASON for conflict, except that Ike and Wyatt hated each other...VIRGIL WAS THE Marshall, not Wyatt

Lincoln got 600000 men killed in a heinous manner just to preserve the union when nobody can tell me why we needed to reserve the union. He should have just let the cell succeed yet. He got everybody killed so I don't think it's all that bad that he got killed being that he sent all those other men to their deaths. I don't know why everybody thinks he's such a great President. He didn't do all that much. They only like him because he got shot

WOW! What a flashback when I was a kid...Good Stuff! I believe "In Search Of" with Spock used some of these clips. It sounds like a lot of people were Clintonized after Lincolns murder.

I watched that same t.v. show when I was 11 years old and then I went to Washington, D.C. when I was 13 years old and visited Lincoln Memorial, White House, Ford's Theater and the house where Lincoln died. Finally, I was 30 years old and went to Springfield, Illinois where my great uncle Henry Weber was born there and visited Lincoln home, Lincoln tomb and etc... Also, I went to Mount Rushmore and saw Lincoln's face. Mark Weber

Ok I need to ask maybe silly question but - Was Fords Theater ever used for films like this ? This and other films look so identical but I can’t imagine them in the booth of Fords the way it’s sealed off

This is a great concept. Some parts feel almost like traveling back in time with "found footage" through multiple POVs. The scene of the actual assassination and ensuing aftermath had a really gritty, matter-of-fact presentation to it that made it equally or more realistic to many modern period pieces. I can almost picture what it was like to be there. Thanks for uploading this.

but booth himself was never caught or killed.. it was not him who was captured but they said it was because they were tired of chasing him down.. and made a cover up of it.. but booth got away and went off in some direction but he was never heard from again after he escaped.. and all those who were involved in the conspiracy were black mailed and threatened if they ever exposed it

Lorene Greene's narrative could make any subject interesting. A well done presentation about the gunfight at the OK Corral. I've been to the AZ twice. I've read excerpts of the coroner's report. This video presentation is the closest to reality I've seen.

Can you imagine for one moment the Secretary of War refusing to relieve a subordinate, so he could accommodate the President as a body guard. Lincoln was just a little to easy on Stanton. He should have said "You will relieve anyone i tell you to and come Monday morning you and I are going to discuss who's running the show "
